• I've completely remade layouts to suit my skins :
- popup zoom key replaced by simple pressed key effect (Metro Blue patch available to restore popup)
- added predTXT (predefined texts : press shift to access second layer) to all versions
- bottom arrows dock available for all versions (with or without)
- 23 lang. support now (eng-cze-ptg-rus-ara-far-rom-cro-dan-bul-ita-ger-fra-grk-nor-pol-hun-heb-tur-spa-swe-ukr-arm)
- 24 compressed skins (3.6Mo only for W-VGA / 1.6Mo only for W-QVGA) :
> 14 custom skins : androidLIKE, BlackHD, BlackHD_Gloss, BlingBlingDjOuB2, CarbonDjoubUto, Dinik_Anastasia, EagleDig_Lightnin, Energy, Giannis86Ed2, GTX/White/evo, iphone4LIKE & LycoxWP7
> 10 stock skins : these are the ones available by default but I compressed them and I made them compatible with my new layouts
- BMP resized for perfect alignment & less memory usage so if you use only my skins with any other layouts then a few keys will be missing or will be deformed
- compatible QVGA (Elf, Kaiser, Touch, Cruise, Pharos) - WQVGA (OMNIA) - VGA (Diamond, Touch Pro, Fuze) - WVGA (Diamond2, Pure, TouchPro2, Tilt2, HD2, OMNIA2, TG01, Xperia2)

• INSTALL:
1. Be sure to have FingerKeyboard2.1 installed first (available HERE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=501434&highlight=fingerkeyboard))
2. Unzip my skins into \program files\Fingerkeyb\Skins (overwrite ALL existing files) **
3. Launch FK2config : check your lang + predTXT (predefined texts are ENG by default but you can simply edit with notepad the file skin-01-predtxt.txt to make your own predefined texts) and choose a skin (color scheme)

** if FK2 is cooked into your rom then it might be directly into \windows\Skins\ folder

• BlingBlingDjoub2 skin is based on wonderful DjOuBhAa's BlingBling TF3D theme (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=468044)

• Dinik_Anastasia skin is a port I made from the beautiful EZinput skin made by Dinik (available HERE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=670811))

• EagleDig_Lightnin skin was originally made by EagleDig for FKv1.4 WVGA but it is not compatible with FKv2.1 so I've ported it to FK2 in all resolutions

• fr3sh_t0_d3f (GTX team) asked me to do a FK2 GTX skin and I've done it (skin based on ElCondor&Kamil GTX theme (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=592584)). GTXevo is an SVI original idea :)

• Giannis86ed Glossy skin (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=483368) made by Giannis86 for FKv1.4 VGA is not compatible with FK2.1 so I've ported it to FK2 in all resolutions

• LycoxWP7 skin is a port I made from the wonderful Lycox TP4 skin (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=661432)

• to access digits with NoArrows versions just hold lang key after configuring lng button like this

• Hold dot key to type ... (key repeat is set to 3 characters max)

download RR33_FK2_METRO_BLUE_POPUP_PATCH and unzip into \program files\Fingerkeyb\skins\ (overwrite ALL files)

• How to make your own predefined texts :
open skin-01-predtxt.txt with notepad (I prefer notepad++ but it's not really important) then you'll see lines like these

CScheme txt1 Hi!
Action txt1 SS:160Hi there!
etc...

line#1 is displayed on the key so be as short as possible and the most important : don't make spaces (you can type .. or _ to separate 2 words)
line#2 is typed into your text : as long as you want (the number 160 tells that your text uses 160 letters max so if you exceed that number simply change the value but in most of cases 160 is enough : it's been made to write text message easier and not a novel lol) and spaces can be used this time ^^

• How to add/move letters into FK2 layout :
your layout is like that

Key 291 70 42 62 2,2,8,2 key0 key1 j,',J,lol SC:j,SC:',SC:J,SS:3lol
Key 339 70 42 62 2,2,8,2 key0 key1 a,b,c,d SC:a,SC:b,SC:c,SC:d

blue is what is displayed on the keys
Orange is what is typed into your text
j,',J,lol= a,b,c,d = normal, hold, normal shifted, hold shifted
when you have only 1 symbol/letter you should use SC: before your symbol/letter
When you have more than 1 symbol you must indicate the number of x letters you use with SS:x

• I can't see letters but only squares on keys ?!
this is due to your fonts that don't support specific languages.
Try the Win7 tahoma font posted by arshavir HERE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6610508&postcount=156)

• I have trouble with WM 6.5.x Bottombar while using the "hide bar" setting ?!
download RR33 FK2 WM6.5.x Patchs then unzip the file that matches your device resolution into \program files\fingerkeyb\skins\ and soft reset

Hi,

I did not make that SIP so I don't know all the possibilities of this keyboard. Nevertheless, I know that the keyboard size is defined into each layout, by example for digits, open with notepad "skin-02-wvga-port-01-digits.txt" and you 'll have this :

ResolutionBegin 480 800
LayoutBegin digits
DisplayName 123
Size 480 335
Fill 0 0 480 399 CSCHEME.BgColor

you have to modify the size too, so try this :

Any cab with no arrows for omnia? It is waste of space while you have d-pad. Pls any idea? Bigger letters would be better with no arrowspace at the bottom.

I can help you to build a new layout for your omnia but since I can't test WQVGA skins myself (I only have a VGA diamond) I'll need your help to make several tests till we succeed in ^^

Thank you bro, I've just found what I exactly looking for. Maad11 in modaco forum (http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-http-omnia-modaco-com/285121/fingerkeyboard-2/) made some modifications for get rid of the arrows and making the keyboard bigger. Now I'm just trying some editing on txt config files. Only trouble for now is WM6.5 bar. It stays at the bottom just like other keyboards. It looks fine though but will be better...:D

tipp: for the moment you can set "hide bar" for landscape/portrait into FK2 config menu to get better visibility :)

I seem to be having an issue with opening the wvga file so that i can extract it. I keep getting an error message that sau that there are missing files and ro redownload or restore the file. I have done this several times with no resolution insight. Can you let me know what i need to do to fix this issue so that I may try out theses awsome skins. I am trying this on a HD2

there will be 3 more skins into my next pack (+Noarrows for all versions+more lang support)
I like very much the Glossy skin that Giannis86 made for FKv1.4 VGA but it's not compatible with FK2.1 so I've ported it to FK2.1 in all resolutions and I added missing bmp like bottom bars. I've done the same with EagleDig Black Lightnin skin which was only for WVGA FKv1.4

I've remade totally the layouts, that's why default layouts won't work with my skins : it's an all-in-one package of my skins&layouts.

i tried the wvga with no arrows, is it normal the pop up letters not appear? how do i get the pop up letter to appear, also in my omnia II seems a bit laggy when typing compare before applying the skins.

I have replaced popup with key pressed effect but if you want the popup above the key you press (and not under) then open skin-00-sheme-SKIN_NAME.txt with notepad and change CScheme SelectedOffset -62 to CScheme SelectedOffset 2
Otherwise there is no popup for bottom bars.
No, shouldn't be laggy cause there are less & smaller BMP to display with my skins than default.

thnx i'll try editting the text, but when i turn off the vibration seems typing become faster without laggy, how much (ms) is the optimum setting for the vibrate you are using??

No XXL for now but it's a good idea for a next release : it will force me to redo/resize all bmp by the hand (like I said FK2 is unable to scale images properly) so it's too much work for me now, I'm too busy atm sorry (it was already a huge work to release this v4)

Adding a language is easier : do you have a model of dutch layout ? if yes then post it here and I'll make it compatible with my skins ;)

That's ok ;) really no need to apologize, it was just a question and I understand this is all pretty time consuming.
Maybe in the future just one xxl layout for people's favorite skin,
like the wm7 one.
In the mean time I'll enjoy your work just the same.

@chelsea_fc : maybe there is a bug with your vibro driver ?? I set to 20ms.
You can try another way : deactivate vibration into FK2 & install TouchResponse : a little app which enables vibration whenever you press/release your screen.

What I'd like know if its possible to have a keyboard like [Resco] Popup "Keys" not keyboard. So as I'm typing i can see the keys pop up so I can confirm that I'm hitting the correct keys as I'm typing with my large fingers?

I have put the dot in long press to make ... easier lol but you can reverse it by editing your language layout with notepad. By example edit skin-02-wvga-port-01-eng.txt :

Key 315 202 42 62 2,2,8,2 key0 key1 TEXTcomma,.,TEXTcomma,. SC:,,SC:.,SC:,,SC:.

replace it by :

Key 315 202 42 62 2,2,8,2 key0 key1 .,TEXTcomma,.,TEXTcomma SC:.,SC:,,SC:.,SC:,

The Vinsos skin is very nice. For the GTX skins, both are beautiful but I like the white better. May I suggest that for the other GTX skin, different color be made for the gray keys to spice up the total appearance. I'm using your android skin and waiting eagerly for your GTX skins!

ok here is a little explanation :
open skin-01-predtxt.txt with notepad (I prefer notepad++ but it's not really important) then you'll see lines like these

CScheme txt1 Hi!
Action txt1 SS:160Hi there!

etc...

line#1 is displayed on the key so be as short as possible and the most important : don't make spaces (you can type .. or _ to separate 2 words)

line#2 is typed into your text : as long as you want (the number 160 tells that your text uses 160 letters so if you exceed that number simply change the value) and spaces can be used this time ^^

- it can only be larger in height and not in width (I have already increased width if you compare to FK2 default size)
- it will be for NoArrows versions only otherwise you won't see your text anymore lol

new skin with arabic letters and arrow in landscape for qvga tested and working good on htc trinty
first downloud the finger keyboard for the qvga then rename the skin folder to skin0 then unzip the momo10egy skin in the finger keyboard folder in your pograms file and enjoy it

viva is QVGA so install the program Fingerkeyboard2.1 (Arrows or NoArrows : it doesn't matter cause with my skins you'll be able to change it) then unzip my QVGA skins (Arrows or NoArrows : I suggest you NoArrows but try them both to make your own opinion) into \program files\Fingerkeyb\Skins\ then go to keyboard settings and check options as you want :)

Hi RR33. I love your skins. I have never used the arrows, so am very happy you have created a skin which does not have them, thus reducing the size of the keyboard.

I have been trying to make a few adjustments to it to suit me. I want a shortcut with the characters "pppl" (just a password I use for something). As you can see, I have managed to add this shortcut for a long press button which works fine. However, I have changed the long press " l " button to a " " ". I cannot get the " " " to work though. Pressing it does nothing.

In addition, I would like to change the " [ " and " ] " to " ' " and " % " if possible. I attach the relevant file. Could you have a look at it and let me know what I am doing wrong please?

thanks but I don't understand your lang so could you do exactly as I told you : open notepad and type on your computer keyboard every symbol from left to right line by line then repeat the same operation when shift is activated.
By example, for my azerty keyboard :

Thanks RR33, that worked. I'm not sure how it didn't before, but now I'm happy. I have one other question though - if I want the pppl to be instead of the " . " (I mean with a short click, not a long one), is this possible? It only types a " 4 ". Here is what I mean:

edit: bad news, your lang is not compatible with UTF-8 (fk2 txt file format) so we can only see squares instead of arm symbols/letters... I can't do it sorry

Sorry to hear that. But UTF-8 is the one I use everywhere when typing and reading. Maybe it was because I hadn't saved the .txt file as UTF-8. I'm attaching a new one. Also, could it be that the font used does not include the Arm letters? Sylfaen is one that does.

I've also noticed a problem : my skins only support 11 keys wide but I saw a line of 12 keys into your layout.
So is it possible to move a symbol to a lower/upper line which has less than 11 keys ?
if no then a solution would be to set the 12th character as hold character into 11th key

Sylfaen is a font from Microsoft. I won't post it just in case. But I'm attaching a super-complete font I have built (HG Hay), which includes lots of languages.

You can move symbols as you like to other lines. I can't wait to make it work. Thanks again.

unzip my WVGA skins into \program files\fingerkeyb\skins\
unzip this arm layout into \program files\fingerkeyb\skins\
launch FK2 setup (launcher is into programs menu or into settings>input menu>options)
check arm lang & options as you want then click on ok

I can type the letters, but the keyboard is just squares (it will type correctly on the screen, however). I guess I have to replace the font the skin is using with one that includes Armenian. Which font does the screen use (on the keys)?

The other issue is that as Armenian has 38 letters, some of them are on the first (numbers) row, which is absent from these keyboards. Is there any way to add that row, or I'll just have to place those missing letters on the text keys?

I love this :) Once we get a polished thing, I'll advertise it among my friends.

font is tahoma by default, the best is to change system font by overwriting tahoma.ttf into windows\fonts
I set notepad font as Arial unicode MS and no more squares :)

I just discovered you placed the letters from the numbers line on the back of the the second. That works for me. Give me some time to test.

I have already replaced Tahoma with Sylfaen (saved as Tahoma), and it is working everywhere, but not here. I'll try to remake the real Tahoma (add Armenian into it), and see what happens. If it's not "reading" from the pseudo-Tahoma=Sylfaen, where is it reading the keys from?, because in English, for instance, the keys appear with the shape of the real Tahoma (sans serif), not as the Sylfaen (Serif font), which happens when I open an e-mail, for example.

Hello .... first thank for your great job at BUL layout ... there are several bugs, that I`ll try to explain as good as I can. Sorry for not sending you PM and spamming a little, but I don`t know how to add attachments on PM ... so here it goes :

First screenshot :
1. This button doesn`t work ... it should be "ф" letter there .... no problems in landscape mode tho.
2. The letter "ю" should be on bottom of the button, cause it`s part of the alphabet . The letter that is highlighted shouldn`t be there at all cause it`s not used in Bulgarian alphabet ... it can be replaced with "@" symbol, cause I can`t see in nowhere on the keyboard layout.
3. That is also no valid letter in Bulgarian alphabet ... it can be changed with the "и" with the same " ` " symbol on top of it ... that will be a valid BUL letter.
4. Another symbol that doesn`t mean anything in Bulgarian , so it can be replaced with another one.

Second screenshot:
1. Same as point 1. on first screen. "Ф" layout is missing on portrait mode.
2. Same as point 2. on first screen.
3. Same as point 3. on first screen.
4. Same as point 4. on first screen.
5. Same as point 4. on first screen.

Third screenshot:
1. The square must be removed and only letter "з" to remain as in portrait mode.
2. Same as point 2. on first and second screen.
3. Same as point 3. on first and second screen.
4. Same as point 4. on first and second screen.

Forth screenshot:
1. Same as point 4. on first and second screen.
2. Same as point 2. on first and second screen.

Other bugs : TXT button doesn`t do anything in landscape mode, but not only in Bulgarian language. But really that`s not a problem for me, cause I don`t use predifined text at all.

Hope that helps , and btw ... if it`s not too hard it would be very nice if there is also an Arrow version too, I guess. I`m not sure that I will use it , but maybe it will be useful for others.

So it`s not so hard after all to edit the files you sent. It`s hard to make a layout to be edited :)
Here are the edited files without mistakes...
If you could just find a symbol that can replace the "^" symbol in land-05 file on row 2 key 122 and the same symbol in port-05 file key 47 .... cause I just didn`t know what else can I include as symbol :)
For me after editing all works perfect ( except for "^" witch doesn`t show up in any mode)

I'm working on the pred.txt thing (half done). But first I've got to see the keys in Armenian. I've spent hours reading threads on changing system fonts. Looks like it's not that simple. Once you change the name of one font, the OS bring another one by default to take its place, unless the font being brought is internally identical regarding all naming protocols. I'll try to add the glyphs to tahoma (or tahoma-named) font, see what happens.

ok so try one of these solutions :
- change number of your lang txt (port+land) : I set 22 for arm but try 00 or 01 (by renaming txt file name)

- if previous tipp does not work then open skin-01-global.txt and change the line :
defaultlayout eng to defaultlayout arm

- another solution would be to check only arm+predtxt but you'll have eng no more

My skins&layouts are... only skins&layouts lol : they neither modify FK2 app (exe, dll...) nor modify click sounds (no wav file into my skins)
So your issue can't be due to my skins :P
Into FK2 option menu you can change sound scheme so try another one.
Maybe you've intalled skins from another member who has changed wav files into poor quality, or you simply have boosted up your volume level to max : the sound saturates. Perhaps you've installed a cab that has modified your sound driver (SRS WOW, taskbar ...)

Windows Mobile (6.x) system font is Tahoma, but that Tahoma version is not include Armenian letters, Armenian letters is come only in Windows 7's Tahoma, so if you want to see Armenian beautiful letters on your PDA, you must only replace default tahoma font to new (Tahoma from Windows 7). Font is in /windows folder not on /windows/fonts (I use Windows Mobile 6.1, and I don't know in 6.5 is it here too). Replacement you can do like Pocket Total Commander, when replace soft reset and you can now see armenian and many language letters everywhere you want, mail, RSS Feeds, SMS, and where you want on your PDA. Please sorry for my english:) I attach new Tahoma fonts.

FK2 was laggy by default on my diamond cause popup images were too big : I reduced them and changed them into pushed key effect. I also removed these effects for bottom bars. Now it's fast & smooth :)

What you can do is to move the key pressed effect up : open skin-00-sheme-SkinName.txt with notepad and change the line :
CScheme SelectedOffset -62 to CScheme SelectedOffset 1
You'll have a popup effect but still not available for bottom bars.

edit : I've made Arrows/No Arrows into 23 languages* for WVGA, tell me if I've made mistakes :)

:) When you change Tahoma font, your system font now include Armenian, and Finger Keyboard use system font, that mean that Armenian letters on it will be shown on FK2. Please let me know is HD2 and WM6.5 use Tahoma? I haven't never test WM6.5 and HD2, but now I want to change my Touch Diamond to HD2, and it will be cool, that HD2 use Tahoma, and not other, for example Sergoe UI. Thanks.

I have already make for me arm layout for VGA, your version of Arm layout is not for me, because I use Phonetic Armenian layout, and in phonetic letters aranged diferent comparing to yours, It working fine, it is great app. Now I working on my layout and when finish I will share for you.

I love your skins, they look pretty awesome. i always use to "hide bar" in both landscape and portrait, but since i have wm 6.5.5 with the bottom bar, i used your wm6.5 patch and it worked quite good, but after flashing another rom, reinstalling your skins and reapplying your patch, i from time to time get back that error that the bottom bar still get hit. i have to reapply your patch after every softreset and after every 5-10 textmessages... i have no clue whats the deal now with it. maybe some mistake in the file-properties of global.txt? i dont use fingerkeyboard settings inbetween, i only have to know to reapply the keyboard and your patch, so i have no clue why my phone is losing the taskbarsize setting.
does anyone have any solutions? would be very helpfull

Hello there, I may be doing something wrong but I don't seem to see the arrow bar on my hd2..I'm currently in chucky rom which came with everything GTX and on the GTX skin on its finger keyboard doesn't have an arrow bar..anyone help pls? sorry I'm still noob at this but i will really appreciate if someone can help me? thanks in advance ^_^

For People which have trouble with the WM 6.5.x Bottombar while using the "hide bar"-setting in Fingerkeyboard, Inks posted a working permant solution here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6692977&postcount=1920). Cause changing the Taskbarsize in the Skinfiles didnt worked for me after each Softreset, i used the Registry change he posted at the bottom of his post. This works very well, no more Problems with the bottombar, and i dont have to relaunch Fingerkeyboardsettings after each Softreset, maybe someone will find this helpfull.

You can add a specific password/email/text as you want into FK2 setup at smiles/shortcuts but to my knowledge it's not possible to "auto-enter", you've got to press enter by your own

I want to create a shortcut which will enter a password AND press "enter" all with one click. I can do shortcut with the digits, but don't know how to add the "enter" part. Can you help me please?

You have to do it that way:

OS:2:SS:4test:VK:14:0x0D

OS:2 for two actions. SS:4test for your shortcut and VK:14:0x0D for enter action.

I'm on my way to edit color schemes made by RR33 to fit my XL skins. But it will take some weeks until i get the GTX color scheme fit my skins. Its just really much of work. Maybe RR33 will present the XL skins in that time, but he is really busy atm ;)

You've got this error using FK with the default skins or with RR33 skins? Which skin pack are you using?

whoops... I forgot it into GERMAN layout sorry, this will be fixed into v6...
BTW you can edit with notepad your language file or more simply launch FKconfig menu and add @ into smiles or shortcuts

yes, the code is HERE (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb431750.aspx)

you must modify the line :

Action Space VK:14:0x20,VK:14:0x09

into skin-01-actions.txt then hold space bar for Tab :)

I'll include it into my v6 pack...

INSTALL:
1. Be sure to have FingerKeyboard2.1 installed first (available HERE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=501434&highlight=fingerkeyboard))
2. Unzip my skins into \program files\Fingerkeyb\Skins (overwrite ALL existing files) **
3. Launch FK2 config : check your lang + predTXT (predefined texts are ENG by default but you can simply edit with notepad the file skin-01-predtxt.txt to make your own predefined texts) and choose a skin (color scheme)

My original files and support are only available at xda-developers.com.This project looks great. Especially "popup zoom key replaced by pressed key effect" and "NoArrows" are features I've wanted to see in my FingerKeyboard setup for a long time. For me, it's a big bonus that some of the skins looks way much better than the original FK-skins. I'm working on a new ROM setup now, as such I wanted to try this skin(s). Though I must be overlooking something obvious; I cannot find a link to download them...

I updated to v6.1 my skins pack :
- LycoxWP7 fixed (image compression was ugly for a few keys so I remade them)
- added 2 compressed skins : GTX_white + Dinik_Anastasia :)

No, not really difficult but I need a model cause I don't speak latvian
Basically there are 2 files for language layout : landscape (skin-02-vga-land-01-eng.txt) & portrait (skin-02-vga-port-01-eng.txt)
you can open them with notepad (easier on your computer than PPC) and try to change letters
I'm here if you need help, read post #2 to see how it works

I had mede the same as said but the result was the same...
so I tried to change for WVGA to (+12) not (-46)... and I had the following (picture)

As I can see, a lot of people do prefer POPUP effect (above finger) instead of pressed key effect (under finger) so I added a patch to enable it with METRO BLUE POPUP :)
WM6.5 only atm... WM6.5.x patch will come later

I've edited all (skin-00-sheme-SKIN_NAME.txt)

Do you mean the shift key behavior of the thc keyboard? I do not think it would work with only one "shift" button, because FK resets shift layout after you pushing the shift button (first toggle switch). The only workaround is to make the same layout for the second toggle switch as the layout made for the shift button. So you'll have two shift buttons ^^ After playing some minutes with my layouts, i was able to get the backspace button acting the same way after pushing the second toggle switch as after pushing the first toggle switch (shift button). I'm mean the actions like deleting the line and deleting the whole text. The arrow buttons are also marking the text after using the second toggle switch ;) So you'll need to place a second "shift" button into your layout to get it working :(
