Does this sound like a radio issue?

I am getting very fast data in HSDPA (H) areas, but in Edge (E) areas, I have to log on and off several times just to do minor tasks like download email or update weather. I know H is faster than 3G and much faster than E, but I used to be able to do most things with just an E connection before flashing a new rom and radio. I wonder if it's the new Hard SPL, the new rom, or the new radio. Any idea for what is affecting my Edge data?

Try to flash the old radio. If that doesn't help try to flash a new ROM. And if that doesn't help too check your login informations for EGDE. Sometimes they aren't the same like for 3G.
I don't think it can be the hardSPL cause it normally has nothing to do with the Radio commands so that is not a problem.
