hey guys, I'm new here and was browsing around and noticed a few options for custom roms. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for my needs. I currently enjoy the htc touch's os with the spb mobile shell minus the lagging. i have a feeling there is a custom rom out there that i will enjoy better. i am looking for much faster performance as first priority and cool gadgets as second. Any suggestions?

I think NFSFAN's roms are the best out there. He has a 6.1 and a 6.5. I don't know if it really speeds WinMo up (it's been a looong time since I ran my stock ROM to compare it to) but it's as fast as I need it to be.
Of course, I don't find myself using WinMo much at all anymore. As you may have noticed, there's a lot of threads here about running Android on the Vogue. You can run it without flashing your phone, and the only thing really missing at the moment is Bluetooth, but that's being worked on.

I agree, go with Android. None of the risk that comes with flashing, but all the fun of a new OS.

The Hero builds are cool to use and show off. Although, the full builds tend to run pretty slow on the phone for everyday use. People do use the Lite Hero builds with lots of success.
You could also try mssmision's Rogers build which people have reported liking also.
I would personally recommend using the latest Ion build or one of the Hero themed Ion builds. They run perfectly fast as if it was meant for this phone and are more or less fully stable.
