Yea, Ivan left in the old one from 6.1, along with the new one.
Modem Link should work well. Tell me if it doesn't work, and then I can quickly add back the old Internet Sharing.

It's LIKE JustHome. Some major changes from the last JustHome version is that txting works (you can type at a normal speed), and entering passwords work.
Some things that this one doesn't have but JustHome did have: Finger Keyboard and Notification Manager.
Oh and THANK YOU Ivan for sending us your Opera Mini OEM folder!! We got it working, all thanks to you.

LZX or normal version??
And WinMo 6.5 just takes a while to load. You hear one beep, the screen dims, and then you hear another beep, and it asks you to calibrate the screen. That's the proccess. First beep means nothing.

LZX version, flashed via SD Card. I waited very long after the beep, knowing that there is a delay. Never got off the "windows" screen. I am downloading the normal version now to try again. I'll let you know what happens.
BTW, how hard is it to cook a spanish version? What kitchen did you use?
Update: Ok I flashed with Normal rom via SDCard, waited loooooooooong time after reboot for align screen, and it did get there after second beep. Mem after fresh flash is 31.50MB storage, 22.13MB program. Seems speedier than last wm6.5 build (justhome v19). Let the testing begin.....

LZX is compressed, so you get about 10 MB more storage space, and you sacrifice maybe 0.1 MB Free RAM or something. But, LZX must be flashed through Storage Card!! And you must be HardSPLed, of course!!
EVERYONE: If you get a notification to check for WinMo updates, please DISMISS IT. If you say yes, then ActiveSync seems to stop syncronizing for some reason. So just dismiss the notification. Microsoft must be trying some new things, but haven't finished them.

Making a Spanish version isn't too hard except for finding the language packs for all the oem packages. (Unless you do the translating yourself. Then you'd also need the proper initflashfiles.dat.)

That's not a default setting. It's only set to CommMgr in my ROMs or anyone using my ROM as a base for their ROMs. It's something I added a long time ago in one of my first kitchens.

I just reflashed with the LZX version. Memory = 41.92 MB storage, 21.14 Program . Thats pretty good.
Wifi on/off works fine from CommMgr now. I don't know if it was a glitch or a problem with Normal ROM, but I doubt I will flash back to it anytime soon because I'm liking the LZX version.
Button 5 also not mapped in LZX, and holding button 5 attempts to run Voice Command which is not installed.
Oh yeah.... MMS works right away after automatic connection configuration. No mods or install of Network Wizard needed. (So does IE and widgets over reg T-Mo Data connection). Way to go!!

WiFi should connect and turn on fine, I don't think I've had problems
I owe ALL thanks to ToadLife for MMS working right away, and for data connection. It's his kitchen, he was the master that got that working.
And on my next ROM release, once you flash it, it'll remove all physical damamge from your phone. (I wish, my screen is half busted)

Ivan, on the Ava ROM, or any ROM built with Holly's Kitchen, I have never run Network Wizard, and it worked perfectly. All yours requres is network wizard first. IDK why that is.
ToadLife must have figured out something. You'd have to ask him. He's the underlying genius in me and apreincher's ROM's.

All my old ROMs were like that, too. But people didn't want my ROMs to have all the Tmobile settings by default because a lot of my users are in different countries, so I removed all the tmobile settings. That's when people (who use tmobile only... lol) started complaining. (lol, I just realized that it's only tmobile wing users using tmobile that complain. lol) The average OTHER user is used to running Network Wizard already.

Go to Start -> Settings -> System -> USB to PC
Check the only box (Enable advanced network functionality).
I think the USB issues are related to that Update message. I haven't been getting the message anymore though, so I'm not sure what to do.
But enabling that option should get USB working. Soft Reset the phone if it doesn't work. (Also, restart your PC if it doesn't work, because it might be the problem, not the phone).

I expect there will be many more cooks and flavors of ROMs when IVAN's Kitchen (GUI for dummies like me) gets released.

Lol, everyone's gonna have their own ROM when that's released.
But I think the USB problem occurs because...
When that Windows Update message appears, the phone seems to go into a USB connection mode that is for updating your ROM image. Microsoft is still working on the ROM, of course, so this must be a partially completed feature.
Thus, when it goes into that mode, it is waiting for a connection from an update utility (that MS hasn't released). The normal ActiveSync connection then times out, due to that. The only fix is to enable the advanced USB functionality, as said above, which allows for it to connect.
So, I'm hoping that this will be fixed by MS sometime. Also, this is just my best guess. I have no clue how wrong or right I am, lol.

That's your own fault. Lol. One of the programs that you installed on the SD card is causing the boot proccess to be interrupted. Remove that program from your phone. Idk which it would be.
Second: my screen sensitivity is really bad. ive never had that problem before this rom? any suggestions? I had justhome installed before this and didnt have these problems?
That has nothing to do with the ROM, either. Press the Windows key + the Center key (on the D-Pad) to re-calibrate the screen. Maybe that'll make a difference. But my "screen sensitivity" is perfectly normal.

Question: I've said yes to this question. It will bring to me another question? Active Sync just stop sync if i don't use the PDA by 40 minutes.
Another question, my musics keeps changing, after 15, 20 seconds playing. If i make a soft reset, or just reset normally the PDA, comes back normal. Anyone have the same problem?

I've never had those things happen. Idk what would cause them either.

yeah... its too strange to be that problem with WinMo updates.. Besides, my Active Sync works just fine, by usb or Bluetooth.
As I've said before, if this problem happens, just soft-reset or normal reset then all is fine.
I've remembered another question i want to ask: how many times you reset your device in a day? I only make a reset, if a problem happen with my PDA, or a program needs to reboot the device.

I only reboot if it's necessary too, because a problem with a program arives or anything.
Otherwise, if all's running well, I let it be. When your cooking, you're constantly re-booting, lol.

Well, the problem stills on. I'm tired to figure out what is causing him. I guess its Active Sync. When running sync, consumes 4 MB of Ram. After making the sync, closing Active Sync, starting to play a music in Windows Media Player and looking on the error reports, shows to me than windows media player couldn't alocate necessary ram to work, then he changes music. All other programs are closed, and i have 15 MB free while playing music.
Now i'm using PocketMusic free, with HTC Audio Manager works fine also. I'll not use WMP again. For videos, i'm using Core Player, audio, i'm using Pocket Music. Works great to me. :)
Thanks again :D

It's relative, but i have to agree with you, not because those problems i'm having, and yes, because HTC rocks!
WMP strarted to have this problems recently, i've always played songs with him, since Qtek A9100 using TNT Rom Professional WM 6.1, using 128 kbps audio quality and stereo.
Also, using Windows live Messenger, i've got some 4 MB free with Windows Media Player. So, i don't think than Windows Media Player is heavy for HTC P4350, but haves some bugs.

Idk, that cab was supposed to work.
Maybe I could just release an updated version of the ROM, with the fix cooked in. Idk, anything you guys would like, so that this is a major update? I kind of want something else to be changed if I bother to dig up the kitchen and all. It's the weekend now, so now's the time.

There's new versions of GooMaps released quite often, though. I don't want you guys to have an old version stuck on your phone.
But nah, I don't think I'll cook on the Titanium WM7 theme. Maybe re-skin some icons, that's all.

thanks,
There's instructions on XDA-Devs. I don't put those on The Wingster, because I don't wanna confuse people.
Flashing through SD Card requires you to be HardSPL. Then, you have to format your SD Card to FAT32. Then, you rename the .NBH file to "HERAIMG.nbh". Then, put the SD Card in your phone and hold down the camera button. While holding the camera button, press and release the soft reset button. Keep holding the camera button until you see a new white screen appear. Press down on the volume slider to flash the ROM. Wait 10 minutes or more. Success, press down on the volume slider again.
That's basically it.

I flashed this morning and I absolutely love some of the changes/ features of this rom, with a few observations.
1. I do like having the com manager mapped to the top key on the right side........dont know how to map keys myself....
2. Windows live wont let me log in either like another poster already mentioned.
3. the opera mini cab didnt work for me either, so I just loaded another version of 4.2 that I found somewhere about 3 months ago and the problem was solved.
4.the wifi works now but the first time I tried it, it took almost 5 minutes to even show up, bu then it connected just fine. (so I guess it's fixed)
other than those thing already mentioned, I love this rom. I have used ttrans roms almost exclusively for the last 2 years(I downloaded all of them as they were being cooked) and used the # 4 Black lite version for almost a year. it did most of the things I needed anyway and wasnt cluttered at all. alas, it was time for a change and last week I flashed JustHome, the battery life sucked (memory leak I think) and I couldnt wait to try this one. thanks for all the hard work, and if you can do anything about mapping the key for the com manager fix the issue with windows live, it seems to be working great and the battery life has been much better.

I'm not sure why Windows Live wouldn't login, that's weird.
And I'm not sure why WiFi would be funky, but it worked, so yea, lol.
I'll try to remember about the button mapping if I release another version. Right now I have no time. But I think you should be able to change the button mapping yourself (Start -> Settings -> Personal -> Buttons), I think that's where you'll find the options. Might be Start -> Settings -> Buttons, but you'll find it easily, lol. See if that lets you map the button.

Hmm. I guess I could use an older Windows Live version, maybe. How about you try installing Windows Live on top of the ROM? See what happens.
And I guess those two programs don't support icons for WM6.5, maybe? Other icons for programs work fine. Maybe they didn't install propery? Or a soft reset would fix it? But icons in programs menu should display fine.

I will try and find the windows live.cab file and give it a try, the problem with the program icons is that the programs arent there or they are corrupt. Yep, they're probably just not compatible with 6.5, nothing that I can do about it really. That's sucks.
But I think I'll just load an older version of Windows Live on the next release, maybe. I've gotta find some time to do this though!
Or, if you wanna learn to cook for yourself, you can take this EXACT ROM, and then change out WinLive yourself. It'd be pretty easy. I'm planning on re-doing the entire graphics on 6.5, when I release my next version. I've been inspired by the EnergyROM's, they're beautiful. So, my next release will be all tricked out!

You can delete Start Menu shortcuts from a File Explorer.
Launch a File Explorer from your phone, navigate to \Widnows\Start Menu, and delete whatever shortcuts you want (or shall I say, what you don't want!).

Programs tab? Are you confusing yourself with what ROM you're using?
This ROM is Windows Mobile 6.5, with the slidable Titanium interface. I guess you can call them "Tabs". So, you are using the ROM, numb3rs, right? lol.
And, it sounds like you installed CHome on the phone. That adds more plugins to the homescreen, like your "Programs" launcher. Idk about customizing that. Ask the creator of CHome about that, I barely ever used it.

I'm having a similar issue & after a search, can't find anywhere if there was a resolution.
Windows Media just skips to the next song after 19-20 seconds of playing. I've tried closing everything out of memory, etc. & it still happens. I can soft reset & have over 15mb of RAM & launch WMp & the same thing will happen.
Does anyone have a solution?

This is why I don't use WMP. If I can't get HTC Audio Manager cooked into my ROM instead, I'll use TCPMP. They are both better than WMP, they use less RAM, and TCPMP even has an equalizer.

I personally just don't like the new WM6.5.1 builds, they're weird. I might have to give the latest latest build another try though. And yea, some nice skins would look good on 23047.
I also love, love Opera Mini 5! I mean, tabbed browsing!
