Hi,
My first post here! I wanted some advice please. I have an HTC Touch Dual (carrier-unbranded and unlocked) which is using the English language. It is currently running WM 6.0 but I want to upgrade it to WM 6.1.
When I go to HTC's support site and type in the phone's serial number, it only gives me access to the PTG (portuguese) ROM, not the WWE (english) version.
I have downloaded the WWE version from a link in these forums (file name: RUU_Nike_HTC_WWE_2.09.405.1_Radio_NikeMR_1.65.28.2 5_signed_Ship.exe) but I want to know if I can flash my phone OK bearing in mind I don't know the original locale of the device? Can I flash my supposedly portuguese phone with a WWE ROM?
Is there a way of backing-up my current ROM in case flashing goes wrong?
