[?] Can Anyone Tell me why?

Can anyone tell me why a BlackBerry Bold and 8900 with my At&t sim card gets full reception at my house but three of my ppc's, iPhone, and crappy Moto barely gets reception? I've searched and the most I can come up with is something in the lines of a "dual radio", but to me someone who has been following xda for at least a year, "dual radio" does not make sense in regards to reception.

Is it a particular driver?
