I'm using Opera Mobile on WM6.5
I want to open tabs in backgound like middle-click a link in IE/Firefox/Chrome. Is it possible to do that? I looked through Opera:config and find nothing related.
Any one can tell me is it possible?

Click-and-hold on the link then select "Open in a new tab"

thanks two-face, but what it will do is open in FOREGROUND not background. I have to switch back to the origin tab, which is quite annoying when trying to open a couple of links from a search result page.
I'm asking for a tweak or hack to make "Open in a new tab" work in background.

Since no working workaround is replied I'm presuming it is IMPOSSIBLE to open a new tab in background in Opera Mobile 9.5.

Interested in the answer as well. Also, is there a way to remove the max tabs limit?

type "opera:config" in the url box without the "s. Its somewhere there, i forgot where specifically so take your time and look around a little. It says "maximum number of tabs allowed" or something, and mine's set to 8.

Just thought I should be specific. Type "opera:config" in the url box. Scroll down, tap on "User Prefs". Scroll down and look for Maximum Allowed Tabs. Change the number to your liking, scroll down somemore and tap save.
