This is one of the fastest and error free version. I have used this version 5 since stylez launched. It has lots of memory for adding additional software. Just add the pdacorner_v10_colour_icon, mskip colour icons and color comm v2 or v2.3 for a more colorful homepage. Just search for them. I recommend this version for everybody who wants to continue to use windows mobile v6.1. I wonder what stylez is up to and if the next version will be out at some point?

Thanks for the reply Stylez:). I've used this kaiser with all oem parts for over 3 years now. I still don't recharge the battery for 3-4days. It's a great phone. I still use it quite often everyday in my life with all the software that I've accumalated. It's too bad that everybody is moving on. So what's the latest phone that you're using now, any recommendations if I decide to move on? My wife has the same exact kaiser but she's gone through 3 backings, over 5 cases, and her screen is slightly cracked. I don't think mine will ever break down at this rate though.

The one thing about the Kaiser was it'd put up with pretty much any punishment given and was a tidy device for it's time :)

I'm using a ZTE-Blade aka Orange San Fransisco (http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=2710&c=orange_san_francisco_b05_zte_blade) cheap 600Mhz Android device but very good for price.

Can you be more specific on the sound as been along time will be able to make .cab from package once know.

The recommended just means no problems from some users inc myself, there are many factors in what radio to choose and so best bet is to flash and test.

I love the rom but how do I change the keyboard layout? a bunch of the keys are mismapped. like hitting func + wifi doesnt turn on wifi and hitting func + symbol doesnt pull up the symbol menu when typing. It's due to you having a AT&T Tilt as the ROMs base is Kaiser.

5.) Hey stylez I am a Tilt user and tried to type an email to my boss today and all the punctuation was wrong. He thinks he hired a complete idiot, what gives.
Well AT$T still insists that their keyboard layout is the future of the world. Unfortunately it does not work with non AT$T based roms, HERE (http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jukzdzldzmu) just download both .cabs and soft reset.

sure do miss the good old days, everybody should just get a kaiser again. Mine still lasts a good 4-5 days on a charge. I don't use the data plan though. All the great modders had a kaiser at one point....

Androids pretty good, of course the battery life isn't all that. This atrix has by far been best for battery life but it's also packing a nearly 2000ma bat inside.

this ROM is incredibly responsible and nice. Unfortunately it suffers from missed SMS notifications: messages are visible in Messages tab in Manila, but they aren't in Inbox and I have no notifications as well.

I use 1.65.24.36 radio which proved to work reliably for 3 years. Would switch to recommended 1.70.xx radio help?

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Setting s]
"SMSAvailable"=dword:00000001

The 2 things u mention have not happened to 1000's of people start from scratch, flash stock, hard reset, flash my ROM, hard reset sounds like bad flash to me as personally used the ROM and have to have 100% working ROM, same reason use 2.2 android.

Gotta be a bad flash, if had the Kaiser i'd md5 check the d/l to kitchen since been a while..

I'm thinking the DHD will surfice for a bit since a really nice phonr but am leaning towards the LG Optimus 2x as don't have a contract but have noticed the 2x isn't far out of price range second hand grade A, in the meantime the DHD is far capable of handling what's thrown @ it.

If only there was a thx button back then :D

I think the 1.65 is a good radio. I ran a 1.70 iNex for a while, but went back to a 1.65 which seems to give me a little better battery life...

I´ve been using this ROM for more than one and half years and never had a reason to swith to another.

About two weeks ago my weather tab stopped working, after pressing the update button, it keeps blinking for a while, saying it is updating, but then it stops and says "Unable to retrieve data for selected City". I tried to delete all of my cities, right now I only have Madrid and it´s still not working. Any suggestions?
