i just got my hands on two damaged htc excaliburs and one of them is beyond repair but the other one has a damaged usb port. so i was thinking of removing the (probably) working usb port from the dead one and soldering it on to the other one.
so i was wondering if someone else have done it and have some ideas how i should do it. becouse in about 2 weeks i´ll have access to pretty much every soldering tool known to mankind.
EDIT: i managed to get a red light light up on the dead excalibur so maybe i can save it. i´ll check back.
