Is that a Virus?

Hi,everybody I have got a problem with my O2 Xda Exec.Periodically the volume increases by itself to the maximum level and if i try to redice it ,it increases again and again and everything starts scrolling untill I soft reset my devise.I am quite confuse if it is a virus or a bug in my OS or maybe it a hardware problem.I am using WM5.Please help.:confused:
