Les Paul 1915-2009

Les Paul, inventor of the solid-body electric guitar and multitrack recording died today at the age of 94. I raise my Guitar Hero III controller (I know it's not a real one but still). I hope all you fellow axe slingers salute the original guitar hero.

I've never owned any Les Paul gutiars, only a Strat and an ESP MH-50.

I was really surprised when I heard that he invented multi track recording. I tried to imagine what songs would be like without...

I didn't realized he recently died until i came across to this thread.

My deepest condolences to Les Paul. Thanks to Les Paul and his superb engineering of one of the first successful electric guitar on the market.
