Complete reflash Treo?

Is there any posibility to complete reflash my Treo, like flasing directy via JTAG? Becausesome settings are still there when flashing with the SD-Card. I also tried 'erase' and task 28 55aa via mtty.

Did U do a hard reset right after you flash with new rom?

I was going to JTAG my old bricked Treo but I couldn't find any info on The Treo 750 JTAG, just the Hermes, and a couple others. I can't figure out which ones are the JTAG ports on the Treo. You put the wires on wrong ports or get solder on another component on the board you could damage the chip. Plus a big pain if you really don't know what you're doing.
I want to find how the official ROM generates a password to unlock the SPL so you can use all of the mtty commands.
Hopefully someday somebody will be able to reverse engineer or extract the nb file from the nbh file that has the password routine so you can trick the Treo into thinking all ROMs are official or a rouge HTC programmer releases a security password generator.
There is a program that is a USB sniffer, that can actually watch the official ROM do it, but it is very expensive.
