Stylus turns sound off.

Hi all

Just one question, I have a herm200 and when I put the styles back it turns the sound off is this a normal or is there something wrong.

Yes. A couple of years ago!! there was a case where the little plastic block that holds the stylus in place had moved. When the stylus was pushed in it would push the plastic block against the push in speaker connector making it loose.

You will need to remove the back casing, replace position the block if it has moved and re-insert the speaker push on connector. (White connector with a red and black wire). Make sure to align the camera macro arm when replacing the back casing. (Not a major dismantling job)
