I think I should have posted this here...
I'm typing right now from Safe Mode.
FYI: I'm running Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 2
Here's what happened:
I installed Darkfall to try it out. Was running good for about 15 minutes. Then my computer freezes, restarts, and now I can't get into Normal Windows, but I can get into Safe Mode. I believe my graphics card overheated. But it seems fine cause I'm using my computer right now, just in safe mode =/
First I thought it was Darkfall, so I unistalled it. Nothing
Second, I thought it was Visual C++ that Darkfall installed, uninstalled it. Nothing
I tried fixing the registery with CCleaner. Nothing
I tried last known configuration. Nothing
My last resort is a OS reinstall, but I'm trying to avoid that. Anyone have any ideas?
Oh also….when I try to get into normal windows I can see the progress bar, everything, then right before the login screen comes up it turns black and it hangs.
