I'm new with android ... is it locked to a carrier ? If so, How to unlock it ?

Is it possible to put any new android version ? is it simple ?

I'm interested, but I must know some details. Sorry for the noobs questions, but you said you want a quick sale so I think this is the best place to ask.

I got it from T-mobile and as such it is locked to the T-mobile network.

I have seen instruction on how to unlock the dream - Have a look on the G1 section of the forum. Also, I believe people have managed to put customised rom on it [do not quote me on this]

As for you asking whether it is simple, if you can follow instructions, then I guess it can be done. However, only you know your ability. :) I never bothered to unlock it because I don't have a need to.
