first of all, great job mate!

1. bug is, as you surley noticed, the first row (Start gps clock ecc)
2. the symbols are a lil bitt to big.
3. the text in the main screen is not sharp enough. same prob with mikey's rom
4. had a strange reboot when i hit the getting started option
5. whatz the strange zoom function?
6. when i go in the setting window i cant touch on any single symbol/button...
7. the scroll function is not good enough
8. maybe you could incorporate the automatic network setting? (which i miss on onyx roms tooooooooo)
9. when i start google maps i cant click on accept or decline
10. spontaneous reboots when i try to change different settings... 4ex. setting the clock

Yes you can .. put the ROM in your sd card and rename it to ELF0IMG.nbh then press power and camera button .. reset the phone while holding the buttons ... now you can flash..

Also sorry for not updating regarding the ROM.. as i was outstation i couldn't look into it... ROM boots perfectly for me... i tried like 5 times now .. it worked... but anyway i still have to do to lot of updates to it.. next version you can look forward to many registry tweaks and space related stuffs. so stay tuned :)

I am having the same problem that I can connect the device with PC and exchange the files without any problem but when it starts to sync the contacts and appointments, it stops and shows error.

I deleted the sync relation and recreate again many times but having the same error.

I have just flashed the new sendhiloo7_ build 23037 ROM and the sync works well ..... It indicates that the sync problem is from your ROM.
I like your ROM very much but I have noway to use it if the sync does not work. I believe many peoples may have same sync problem as I do

Try these for active sync problems

Finally, I went so far as to de-select all of the options to sync - Contacts, Calendar, E-mail, and Tasks. Clearing these checkboxes will delete the data on your device when you apply the change. I then went back and re-enabled all of the checkboxes and ActiveSync started pulling down data and syncing properly again.

1. Deleted the Windows/ActiveSync parterships files
2. Deleted the partnership in ActiveSync PDA program
3. Deleted the partership of my ActiveSync of my Desktop
4. Made a Backup of my SD and formatted it, to delete the corrupted folder
5. Create again the partnership

Try reinstalling activesync

Thank you very much for your reply. I had done everything before sending you the message above but the error is still there.

I flashed another ROM from sendhiloo7_ build 23037, just plug in the USB and it sync automatically. I did not change or touch any setting so far.

I will reflash back to your ROM and try again, coz I really like yours. If I still get the error then I giveup and go for sendhiloo7 one.

change a theme ,
and then another theme ,
apply all the theme ,
u ll see today background and start background pic r wrong .

(b) You may think of cooking utilities like Showaco's CHome Editor, Total Commander and Pocket RAR into the ROM itself.

(c) The HTC keyboard is cool, but EZInput from the HTC Mega (now christened HTC Touch2) is super cool man. If you cook that into your ROM, you need not look any further!!!

(d) There is no EXIT button in the Pocket Internet Explorer. It has to be accessed by opening the List Menu and then scrolling down. Its annoying. All other programs have the "OK" button in the bottom right for exiting from the application. See what you can do about it.

Start-->Settings-->System-->Device Information-->Hardware...

If you find
RAM Size: 64
FLASH Size: 128 then your mobile is Elf

or

RAM Size: 128
FLASH Size: 256 then your mobile is Elfin

If you have Elf i suggest not to install this WM6.5, because it is heavy for Elf. Luckily if you have Elfin, yes, you can flash it. Thanks!

NOTE: Based of model numer also you can identify HTC P3450 - Elf; HTC P3452 - Elfin

there r 2 issues i want to make .regarding phone canvas -incoming calls hangs very often so i have to reset device.secondly the vertical and horizontal scroll bars are guite big they overlaps with the content of screen .is there any fixes for that??

(a) And yes.... Titanium Plugins work, as you can see.
(b) An additional feature of these builds (23034 onwards) is, that you can "Hold and Drag" the icons in Start menu honeycomb to a desired location. Earlier you could only "Move to Top/ Move to Bottom". Now you don't need complicated utilities like Showaco's reStart to reorganise your Start Menu.

(a) Notice that the tiny tabs usually at the bottom of the pages have gone to the top as large thumbable arrows.
(b) EzInput Keyboard was installed separately by me.
(c) Pocket IE has no exit button!! It has to be found by pulling the drop down menu and scrolling down.
(d) All pull down menus are large and easily manoeuvrable with thumbs or Elf(in)'s D Pad.
(d) Vertical scrollbar encroaching on dial pad looks UGLY.

I think that there is any file/s missing...

I think, that you should set the default dialer to default as it is not working.

I was update my ELF for your build 23409 Xip/Sy (5 sep).
After reboot it hangs in "SMART MOBILITY" screen.

This problem is caused by the Outlookenhancement package. if this is removed from the rom base and cooked again, this issue doesnt arise.

Depak, try removing the outlookenhancement package and build your rom, this should do the trick.

That's right. In 23047 V1, the "Send" button in Messaging does not respond. However no problems in sending emails. Rest seems okay, except that the new Titanium is not running some plugins properly. And I miss the thin colourful Top Bar of Build 23409. I will try the normal 23047 now.

For me works now too!!! I think the only thing that i've changed is deactivate "Use Unicode when necessary" :confused:

flashing your rom it is quite stable and smooth but one thing i notice in window directory there are many .CPR there that are not usable pls delete it in your next release and also remove installable software likely:

windows live
adobe reader LE
microsoft tag
modem link
Rss HUB
Streaming Media
start-up icon are to big pls make it small

and also why it is the voice commander running on start up?

i think this will improve the rom and RAM.

It's probably some other software you installed.. this rom only sets up the GPRS settings according to your operator initially

Tried that but had no change. In Wireless LAN it says its off. If i push Turn on Wireless LAN nothing happens, also directly in the CommManager i cannot switch WiFi on.

What do you mean by new titanium? There is default titanium, and there are skins for the default titanium, to change its look and menu colors, and there are themes, which replace the default titanium totally.

to do it b4 cooking : goto your OEM folder or the ext\includedpackages fold where you will find the taskmanager folder > there should be a rgu file, edit it in notepad > you will see similar hexcode > just replace this one....that should do it.

if you want to do it post cooking: use a regedit in ur phone (phm or others) get to this location > HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\TaskManager > two edits have to be done now 1) "LauncherUp", delete the existing one and past the corresponding hexcode in my post, 2) same process for "LauncherDown" too.

Confirms camera button/application doesn't work. Also in iContact assigned ringtones to individual didn't work, all back to default ringtone. Could you fix them! I like your rom.

Hi there. Downloaded the latest version you posted and have the same issues related to settings > connection > comms manager. Can't turn on bluetooth, error:'Can't turn on Bletooth" and in same place, wifi is greyed out. As for the camera, that doesn't give me any error merrsage, it simply doesn't open the camera.

On the Home screen, Favorites title is behing the side icon and all one sees is rites.
That's all I found for now. Will post any other problems I have if I find some.

Bluetooth here works without any problems. From commmgr and settings. Can run it and send/receive files.
I can turn on WiFi too. Cannot check if it connects for now because don't have router in my home.

Will look into 1 and 5.... 2 is something minimal i will see if i can fix this.... About 4th, comm manager works perfectly for me not sure why you guys have issues.... Backlight also works great for me... any1 else having 3rd and 4th issues???

I have been flashing many versions of rom in my elf, and yours was the one that matched my requirements. can i ask for some help from you. i am newbie for cooking and have been following many links given in the forum to try for myself but i have not really succeeded. i had original rom and it didnot work for me. can u post the base rom that you used for cooking your rom. maybe i can try using that. thanks in advance and looking forward for new version of your rom with the camera fix ( it didn't work for me as well)

That's trully odd. I have found the backlight bug that was mentioned earlier. It happens once you try change your backlight settings. Not sure how to fix it though so re-flashed.

hirencj, sorry to hear you have been unsuccessful with both ROMs. I did re check the v2 ROM and again no camera and reverted back to v1 and camera was fine again. Maybe something to do with how your phone was unlocked, I honestly don't know. My phone is reported as CID locked when I do the software check but it is NOT locked as verified by my local distributor. My SPL version is 3.10. Maybe that is the difference? My experience with the hardware and software terminology is extremely limited so any help from me would probably get you nowhere.

I think there is a problem with the themes in your latest build. I can change the themes yews but I can't change the wallpaper. When I restart the phone, the wallpaper is some blue one :( Any way to work around this without re-flashing?

I just tried through the Pictures and Videos option in the start menu and it refuses to open any images. It does show thumbnails. Resco photo viewer work and can update wallpaper but the image size must match screen dimentions and I can't change opacity level.

No active sync connection to my mac with this version :( I guess it's back to 23060v1 for me.

And then ntn happens except for the getting warning " storage memory low "...
So now I am guessing that this rom is not meant for the elf, because its not even starting, i m talking abt 23064...

@hirencj It just goes to show you the luck of the draw LOL. 23060 works for me but not for you, 23064 works for you but not for me hehe.
BTW, can you open any photos from explorer or with the Pictures and Videos app?
I still think the Cook needs a BIG pat on the back and a donation or two for his efforts.

I would love to have a more compact keyboard for the next release. The one included now covers more than half of the screen and most of the time what i am typing is covered by the keyboard and i have to close and open the keyboard several times to type something.
I tried to install FingerKeyboard, but installation crashed, maybe it is not working for this build?
I also noticed that most of the themes are not skinning the buttons in this build. The only one doing this is Verawang Red. After restoring and setting up my device i could not find anymore the theme with which this ROM came, is it available as tsk?
One last thing; In the ROM i had flashed before build 218xxx , the connection setup had Mexico in the list to choose, or even did configure it automatically. The later builds do not have Mexico anymore and i have to do the setup manually, which is annoying.

well what i like in your rom is the look and feel so if you dont add any apps will work...And can you built some themes more themes such as Wm7 look which you already have in your rom...

ok this problem its bacause the beta have a timebomb, the phone must be in bootloader mode and the process to change a rom without timebomb (onyx recomended) continue with normality; in the forum initial and first steps shows how to change to bootloader mode bye

since the beta is over .. it will display that image...Please boot into bootloader and flash either with SD card or though USB...

also i have stopped developing roms for elfin and giving support on this thread..
