Lightsensor wont work!

Hello,

A few days ago, a friend gave me her Diamond to do some Updates, Software-Install and configuration. I bought my wife one a few month ago, and did the same thing.

Both the Diamonds are branded ones, my wifes is O2 and my friends is T-Mobile. On both I did Hard-SPL to update to the newest ROM from HTC (2.03.407.3). Also on both the Lightsensor wont work!

I installed "Water Level" to see the Lightsensors output, but it says 0 Lumen.

How can I get the Lightsensor to work again? Is it just a litte Regkey?

Try to flash a custom ROM like Energy or Gen.Y.

Thanks for your advice, but I wont flash any custom-roms anymore. For my own device it is ok, but for others, who are not very well versed with it...

So are there any other suggestions?
