I am trying to install a new rom using the Idiots guide off here but everytime I try to perform the operation I get as far as the progress bar before my computer says there are communication issues and just gets me to restart the phone and try again.
It's an Orange network UK phone unlocked and I'm using it on Vodafone if that matters.
P.S. I have tried doing this on XP and Win 7 with and without the virus software running
