3.Download and Copy Fixed EXE files into it
4.Run and Enjoy!

can i get it to my htc touch hd...backstone?
No, its for a computer, as in a windows computer. It works with emulation, so if you did manage to get it to work on your blackstone, it would be slow.

Downloading right now for testing. Some one could manage to include HTC´s Hero Sense UI in this emulator! :)

If Androids phones had better processors than these MSX7200 I could move from my Diamond.

emulator: WARNING: could not find valid skin 'G1' in ..\Android-Emulator\Skins/G

emulator: ERROR: unknown skin name 'G1'

Just extract the folder in the package named "Android_Emulator_1.5_by_Xda2_Haseeb"
and rename it to "Android-Emulator".
Guess the author needs to repackage it with the correct name.

how did you manage that one? I now have 2 third party markets in my emu but the 1.6 sounds fun. if you can tell me how ill set up a torrent with the updated settings and 3rd party marketplaces (and they insist that torrents are ALL illegal... lets prove them wrong;) )

It is in airplane mode by default. Go in the grey arrow, settings, wireless controls and then uncheck Airplane mode

you were dead on! this package is great and I love that I did not have to go through the SDK, this is much appreciated.

I don't have much experience either but when you first created this emulation package from the SDK, can you do one with SD card emulation?
http://developer.android.com/guide/developing/tools/emulator.html#sdcard

with an apk file i found combined with a virtual sd card, you could just copy and paste apk files in the right folder and run them from in the emulator. it would make things much simpler :)

how do I load apps?
how do I connect the simulator to my PC's TCP-IP (i.e., network) connection?

Hi!

Could you please update this to 2.3?

There are some instructions to get Android 2.3 Emulator with Market enabeld.

http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/10004/accessing-android-market-from-android-sdk/

But it is very much to do and very complicated.

Would be great if you could create a portable / standalone version of it.

I just checked out BlueStacks. It is SO close to working for my needs, and I did file the appropriate ideas/bugs to see if they'll work on making it happen in the future.

However I still need to get my current project up and running (I am creating a way for our employees to demo a couple of android apps that require WiFi and display best in phone portrait layout).

Does anyone know of documentation that I can use to do something similar to the .exe in this thread (I can live without it being self-executing). Primarily need to package up an Android Emulator AVD with just the files from the SDK needed to run it.
