Getting my htc nike tomorrow

hi,

i should get my htc nike tomorrow (uk, 16 key). Please give me any advice of improvements, apps, registry changes etc to improve the speed and features.

ps. i will be chnaging the rom to a clean 6.5 rom as i do not like htc's ui's.
