Display defective contact or damaged? (Wackelkontakt oder kaputt)

Hi All,
have since yesterday a problem with the display.The Wizard is fully functional but when I press the power button, the screen is normal but sometimes simply starts to flicker on white. When I press the power button and then press the button, it is just normal then starts to flicker again. But it is not always as sometimes it is then also normal.
What could it be and what could I do about it?Thanks for your help. 'm So glad that I've flashed my phone as far as now established, and everything will now no other phone ;)

ab seit gstern ein problem mit dem display.Der Wizard ist voll funktionsfähig doch wenn ich den Powerbutton drücke ist der Bildschirm normal doch fängt manchmal einfach an weiß zu flackern. Wenn ich dann den Powerbutton drücke und dann wieder den button betätige ist es kurz normal fängt dann wieder an zu flackern. Es ist aber nicht immer so manchmal ist er dann auch ganz normal.
Woran könnte es liegen und was könnte ich dagegen machen?
Danke für Eure Hilfe. Bin so froh das ich mein Handy soweit jetzt geflashed hab und alles eingerichtet will jetzt garkein anderes Handy ;)

As far as I remember (from questions about this symptom) is that it is most likely the flat cable between the mainboard and the screen.

To make sure it's not ROM related, flash a carriers ROM. When the white screen problem persists, get a Wizard service manual (if you don't have that already), open up your device and clean the contacts of the flat cable, reconnect it, etc. Some people recommend to secure the connection (on the mainboard) with a piece of tape.

Can someone confirm that it could be the flat cable to the screen or the ROM...
