number one phone = iPhone 3GS
second = TyTn 2

finally i got my iPhone after 2 years of waiting.
changing themes and skins are realy simple, and its way faster than TyTn 2.
lots of beautiful apps and games are available.

i love it
and my TyTn 2 to experiment.

thats funny because i just recently got fed up with iPhone, went WM, and have no desire whatsoever to go back.

iPhone's OS and Blackberry can go to hell... Symbian rocked... Android's shaping up into something more than "all-flash", but not enough for me yet... I'd easily have another Symbian as an alternate, but I don't have any reason not to stick with Windows Mobile 'til the end... whatever I do, it sure as hell won't involve me and another iPhone.

Same thing here with me. I was using a HTC Wizard and was envious of my friends iPhone. That is until I saw how Apple controlled their customers. If Apple was a country, then Steve Jobs is Hitler.

iPhone has a great OS and insane developer support, but I don't want Apple telling me what Apps I can have.

So I looked at the G1 obviously, since it was meant to compete with the iPhone. I love Google, cause they like to give me free things, like Gmail, Chrome, and Google Earth. Unfortunately, there's not many applications on the Android OS. Not yet at least. Funny enough, I posted in the Dream section here in XDA, asking for people to convince me to buy a G1. They attacked me, claiming I was a troll. I can tell the iPhone guys have been annoying them too much.

I used to have a Ngage (screw you), so I have some experience with Symbian OS. It worked, and worked well, but I still like Windows Mobile better.

So, I'm back to using Windows Mobile. The kaiser seemed like a great choice. I got it off Ebay for $120. Windows Mobile at least has applications, but most applications have been abandoned. I'm checking to see when was the last date those application were written, and 2002/2003 comes up a lot. Some 2004, and 2006.

I'd figure that by the time the Android OS is 100% working on the Kaiser, there will be applications written that I would like to see.

Also, just to give an idea of how bad the coding is on Windows Mobile. I remember when emulators like Genecyst and Nesticle would work full speed on my old Pentium 90 Mhz PC. Zsnes would run full speed on a 200 Mhz Pentium. Yet, a 400 Mhz ARM cpu isn't enough to run Super Nintendo games at full speed, let alone things like Playstation or Nintendo 64.

I'd like to blame the CPU for not being fast enough, but I doubt it. I think Windows Mobile is just a pain to port code to. That, and many developers don't use assembly to write their code. It makes a huge difference.

I would say it's just hard to port the code.
Reason I say that is because I've played Warcraft II on my tytn II and it ran smoothly :)
