Hi,
Before posting my problem I've searched this forum and google, but didn't find any solution.

I've got for present faulty XDA II. The owner said he was trying something with software/unlocking and he ended with bricked PDA. It's impossible to load Windows, I've tried all possible key combinations, resets, etc. The XDA II wasn't repaired or damaged physically.

The only way I see some signs of life, that the bootloader is fine, I can see v.1.06 and Serial, and when I connect to PC, it shows USB. But when I try to upgrade ROM, after I press Upgrade, the screen becomes blank and then PC says "connection error".

In few moments I saw on bootloader "DOC FILE IS ERROR" or smth.

I tried to connect with mtty.exe, but it doesn't find USB port as it finds in other my fully working Himalaya.

Is there any chances I can fix it, or just sell it for parts?
