Has anyone been able to overwrite the Hermes radios on Treo 750? I use 154.07.00 and when it completely looses signal it will no regain it without a soft reset.

So far, there have been no documented reports and written method to overwrite the Hermes radio's. I myself fell victim to it and it ultimately led me to just switch it with another Treo. I recall some weren't even able to use mtty successfully either.

I sure hope everyone would stop recommending those radio's, sure the Hermes and the Treo 750 may share some similarities, but what was made for one just can't be made for another. That and maybe Palm has something to do with it :P

Hope you're able to find a remedy for your radio. It sure sucks having those Hermes radio's...

By the way, didn't anyone realize that those Hermes radio's have those different codes at the end of their #? (something like x.xx.xx.10 and x.xx.xx.01, note the last two numbers) I went digging in the Hermes section and it seems those last 2 codes are device dependent. All the more reason why those Hermes radio's just aren't cutting it for our Treo's...
