Hi. Running:
Touch HD, Miri's wm6.5 manila 2.5 rev 7.1 ROM
with HTC's Facebook integration, which I've just started playing with. It seems that you have to open up facebook in the background for integration to work, it's limited to 330 friends' profiles (seemingly chosen randomly), it didn't want to attach profiles unless you link to facebook profile then click the picture and have it downloaded from facebook profile (otherwise it discards the fb linkage when you save and exit out).
[edit: just noticed that people are dropping out of my available links list - one friend was there & linked, link was dropped and now they're not there & i only have 329 links available to select from. Where does it get this list from?!]
[edit2: curiouser & curiouser! i updated, and the friend above was linked again. i clicked on the picture and said 'update from facebook' (generic image next to option, not his personal), then okayed it, and the link's broken!! If I cancel it then, it's repaired. WTF?!]
[edit3: added a friend's proper surname in my contacts on outlook, was synced to mobile, updated on mob, facebook saw the names matched up & offered the link, i accepted, and it took about a minute to go through. maybe the problem is the extremely sluggish connection? seems like it should be a background process...]
Anyone know any workarounds or even experience the same thing?
