Question about HSDPA plus EDGE

My question is this....at Phonescoop.com, I see that the specs on the phone indicate that it uses HSDPA 3.6 plus EDGE. Is it possible to use this phone as a modem for a PC using Windows xp Pro?

Here in Puerto Rico, TMobile has informed that you cannot use a phone with HSDPA as a modem. But, since this phone also uses EDGE I think it may work. Let me know if this is possible.

Yes off course it's possible, You also can use it in GPRS or 3G data service speed. You just need a data cable, internet sharing application.

yes you can use the phone as a modem.. but tell me.. what kind of phone do u have? kaiser, tilt? unlocked? european? from at&t?

and idk how tmobile is there in PR. but i assume its the same as tmobile US since PR is part of US property.

but anyways if your phone doesnt support tmobiles 3g frequencies then you are forced to only use EDGE.

and btw internet sharing on EDGE is sloooowwwwwwwwwwww. ive used it before.
