need help, is there a way on how would i be able to fix this? i have a cingular 8125, there's a slight problem with my keypad. i can hardly press some of the keys lets say the arrow right, letter a, and the dot. i still have to put pressure in it just to be able to key in the input and it's pretty annoying. how would i be able to fix this issue? thanks!

It sounds like you are suffering from a hardware error. Normally there is nothing you can do about it, if it is a hardware problem. If it is a software error, there are two things that you can do,

1) Install another OS to your 8125

2) Ask for the patches for the current OS in your 8125

Hope these tips will help you

Mine was doing the same thing. I just had to peel the keyboard pad off and clean it and the contacts. 100% improvement.

how did you disassemble your keypads? i'm also planning to open my phone, although it would be my first time. i also have a hunch that this has something to do with the keypad alignment or just dirt inside. hmm.

i've tried disassembling my cingular 8125 but i guess, no luck, theres no way for me to disassemble the keypads itself and clean the contacts because it's sealed, no screws. i can clean it unless i peel them from the outer part although i'm not sure if i can put it back together again.
