Hope this one has the butterfinger issue sorted out. ;)

Edit:
So far so good, there are still some touch issues including the annoying butterfinger problem but this time tolerable.

It's quite a heavy ROM considering the M2D & CHome are all cooked in that somehow makes it slower than the older builds. But, the speed is ok and so far looks stable. Bluetooth, WiFi & Blackberry Connect are all working fine.

Let's see how it copes during normal use.

Yup, just found out about this serious bug after receiving an sms.
marcellomc2, can you relay any fix updates from PDAViet on this issue?

i try it and its always said no enough meomry to run any application and i have about 50 mb memory free and 1 gb storage card????

in the moment there is no fix for this sms bug
PhamQuang (cooked this rom) knows about the problem an i hope he will fix it as soon as possible.
when it is fixed i will share it for you.

ROM is perfectly alright except for the issues above. You may try re-flashing back and check if problem is resolved.

it's possible send sms, but not with the send button.
so i'll try to put some screens with the explanation...not fix...another method to send sms while Phamquang do not fix the bug.

Thanks for the temporary fix. Appreciate much sharing the tip! Unfortunately, I can't test since I flashed back to my favorite ROM. :) But, I believe it should work since I was able to send sms as well by reverting back to un-threaded sms mode & selecting send on the sms menu.

Okay, that explains it. Even on my Elfin (128/256) as I pointed out in my earlier post that the ROM is heavy & quite sluggish.

If I may suggest use lighter WM6.5 builds, to name a few: dsixda, vadyarik (light) or kancrutt (light) versions. All those should be fine for your Elf.

This ROM is designed for 128/256 devices not 64/128 so it's too heavy for Elfs. You shuold try any lite rom version's for working perfectly. Issue is that 64 RAM doesn't handle that big mem usage.

hi...

that link is the PDAVIET official link...and i'd download and my suit didn't report anything to me...

i flash on my elf...and no virus...

remember that to flash u need to turn off ur firewall and anti-virus.

SMS send problem solved but butterfinger issue is back! Initial V83 release is the other way around!

It's a pity with the butterfinger issue the ROM is practically unusable. :(

If you are looking for WM6.5, check the lite versions of varyadik & kancrutt. There is also one full version from dsixda but I read somewhere that he recommends using the WM6.5 version 5.03 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3346614&postcount=5230) for Elf models.

There are lots of other WM6.5 ROMs on the Elf Upgrading thread but most are new & "heavy" for Elf. If you dig WM6.1, you may try Onyx 4.7 Ultimate, kancrutt & Topix latest releases or the ones from trueg, blasev/aman, etc. (I don't mean disrespect for other chefs If I missed them out but honestly, other than the shipped ROM on my Elfin the only WM6.1 EVER flashed in my Elfin is Onyx 4.7 Ultimate! and the rest are WM6.5's)
