Well, after installing photoshop i decided to give a stab at my own start menu buttons and heres what i came up with.. i was super surprised at how well they turned out, soooo lol.. here you go

Very nice! I made 2 .cabs of these so you don't have to manually copy them into \Windows. In addition, you can uninstall it, then reset to revert to the old softkeys.

Vistabuttons.cab includes both the softkeys and the start menu select mod, while Vistabuttons2.cab contains only softkeys, and not the start menu select mod. And to my knowledge, this will not work on a (W)VGA device, so don't install if that's the case. BTW, all credit goes to the OP.

I see the similarities, but it's not a rip off. Just a simple button made with photoshop and not skilfully done as dwizzy130's.

The icon for the lock on your phone has nothing to do with the buttons. Its the rom. I cooked these buttons in with my rom and it works fine... i see the lock icon. And yea i could make these transparent.

yeah the screwed up buttons is a rom issue, I had this happening and rebuilt my kitchen, recooked and it's all good now...:)

Instead of all i have to say that your icons look cool but i think if it´s completely transparent i could see all the background in my omnia...:oand this is something i would like...:)
