Sorry but this is my reply to "remember xda" in the android development thread, it was closed before I got to hit post and didn't want to piss off any mods by replacing it in that thread! Sorry about the huge run-on but it was just a single babbling thought!

This is very true! And actually I have posted a couple of comments about this already and the mods actually warned me about being off topic, well if you consider that all the maybe not so off topic but completely simple minded and un researched questions I had to read through to find valid information and not more unresearched uneducated comments, that I would figure the real topic of any of these threads should be to find a way to filter out the people that you say don't want to learn. Well that's an understatement because these leeches don't care about "don't want to learn" because there are so many other noobs that have been given this information (like the one comment I stated we should not toss around the info on how to back up protected apps because anybody with a basic understanding of linux or command prompts actually even easier a file browser, could search research and figure it out it should not be for any noob or leech to steal a devs work, most of them don't want to know to properly back stuff up to change FW or test experimental scripts and so-forth they want to steal paid apps with maybe a few exceptions, anyways this is the kind of technical helpful information that could be PMed to each other or gtalk or email once you knew the persons intentions! And actually one of your mods told me that its ok to give this out freely "because we have the right to back up our paid appsk but that comment isn't valid because it didn't refer to the fact that androids system for rwefunding apps in 24 hr makes it stealing more then making valid backups if you bought a dvd or cd can you copy that and return it in 24hrs? No because you would just copy and return it. So until that's fixed please don't help people steal from hard working devs and if you think that's fair your probably stealing apps too!) Sorry about that ramble but I wanted to respond to him the first time but didn't want to be disrespectful and continue a post that was deamed off topic and get banned. So back to the current post I agree with let's create a filtering/application/test requirement for this forum I mean its pretty simple to weed through the noobs or leeches or bullshiters, with very simple questions like do you know what a terminal app is used for, have you rooted your phone yet, can you mount a ro rw command, can you read very simple instructions and not ask questions that are posted in the main header page, then allow them into the development area, you know have a noob forum then after you have obtained specific information from the noob forum you take the simple test which again should not be standard because people will cheat so it must change or be given through some sort of chat or ineractions with mods or volunteers like if you pass the test then you are required to quiz one new applicant? But anyways I agree with this post, granted my posts are limited but that's because the few questions I've had have been answered through research within your forum, which is actually very helpful and I have made a handful of friends on here that are amazing developers and all around cool and helpful people so thanks for that! but please help with making this a developers/hacking forum not a kiddie daycare that makes it easy for everyone to obtain what we the people have taken are blood sweat and sleep deprived hours to make come true because as good as this is those people that get this stuff handed to them will not know how to appreciate it or give any thing back to the community first you help them root, then you help them them, then steal apps and that's all they need until you give them a new feature that we worked hard to create and they will ask for a simple gui that does the work for them (maybe I'm alone in saying one click root who was that made for? The people who don't want to learn and don't really appreciate what you've done as long as they can take the credit for your work and give nothing back well thanx for that). Well you will see cater to the idiots and watch all this go up in flames remeber when only the elite had root and tethering now tmobile will probably rewrite the unlimited plan because lames are abusing it! So please let's work on making this a netter place and unite to create a true "underground of innovation and modification" for the elite not the unwilling! Sorry for the babbling just kinda passionate about whatching what wqe all worked for go up in flames due to people who could careless! -JK-
