This seems kinda odd...

You say it's 6.29, the archive is 6.22 and the OEM/MASD is 6_4_32007_00. Which is it?

Sorry guys.
Was thinking about 6.29 while posting.
This is 6.22
Didn't update the RGU MASD to point to 6.22.

There you go:
http://rapidshare.com/files/274425699/l_400_Diamond_Camera_6_22_34164_0.7z

This downloads as: l_400_Diamond_Camera_6_22_34164_0.7z

I was able to extract all the files to afolder using winrar.

Should it be renamed to have a cab extension?

If it had a cab extension you would not have even needed rapid share.

hi everyone.just to let you know...
i`ve coocked it in to my Touch Pro ROM and it does not have an options to switch on/off flash light.apart from that it is 100% working.i gues it is good for devices without build in flash.

As mentioned in the thread title, it's OEM, so you need to convert it to CAB or cook it into your ROM.

if you want to install this file without coocking new ROM you need to convert it to the CAB file.but it wil not uninstall old version from your device.it wil only sit on top of the old one(more memory used).i have Touch PRO and i had to roll back to the old version of camera, because with this one there is no way to use flash light while taking pictures.it simply hasn`t got that option.so if your Diamond has build in flash(i m not sure if it has) this one is no good for you anyway.
btw i could not see any improvements.there is no difference between old one and this one.i mean in picture quality.
hope this helps you.

Just installed this on my Touch Pro.
Cant tell much difference other than the fact that theres no Flash option.

How do i get this back? and is it possible to make it use the flash as an actual flash? (instead of just turning on the light?)

You can delete all of the files that were overwritten to get your original camera back using a program like total commander (or find the touch pro camera and overwrite the files again).
