Possible to Upgrade

I have here an Alpine (at least it looks the picture... )
ROM-Version 1.66.01GER
Radio 1.10.00
Protokoll 1337.18
ExtRom 1.66.221

I never upgraded a PocketPC, but I'm not a newbie to computers....

This cannot be an Alpine, since the highest levels available for the Alpine are:
ROM-Version 1.11.00 WWE
Radio 1.04.00
Protocol 1337.42
ExtRom 1.11.180
It might be a Himalaya or Andes which look the same: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=243

Maybe is something very logical, but If I had and old version of Alpine... What are the benefit of upgrading ROM-Version, Radio, Protokoll or Extrom?

i don't know, this is why I'm asking.
WinMobile is not my topic. So my quistion points may to upgrade the Windows Mobile Version of the phone...

I think it's really impossible to upgrade the Windows Mobile in Alpine...

For now I'm using the old "Point UI Home" that looks very nice and works very well...
