Kaiser automatically power off in side pocket

Hi,

My kaiser phone automatically shut down without any sound while put in my pants/jeans pocket almost within 2 minutes....

first i thought that it might be battery So i purchased new battery but the problem remains there...

As long as i keep the phone outside it remains On but if i put in pocket either Jacket pocket or pant ; it turned off...

Any idea ?

So we can safely assume that it is not the software that causes this problem. Try cleaning the gold plated battery contacts of the phone itself. I remember I had a similar problem with one of my old Nokia's. The battery did not fit tight so it could move a little bit, this was enough to lose connection with the phone (which just turned off).

Remove the back cover, and just try to move the battery (without taking it out). When the phone shuts down you found the problem.
