Anyone got a BT stereo headset they can recommend?
I was wondering perhaps if there was such a one that could be used as a good stereo multimedia headset, and converted to mono earpiece for use in gps navigation?

Have the Moto S9-HDs and they work great.

thanks kareem.
I was looking at the Plantronics Voyager 855. In a review I read the S9 sounds better. So I may now change my mind! Does the S9 work ok as a standard BT for answering phone?

Ok, I bought a Moto S9-HD (£10 on eBay).
WOW! I had been using HFP on my blade (obviously for navigation, not music!! I had to use wired for music.)
But this A2DP is great.
I can now cut my lawn without precarious wires dangling! (as long as I do it within 6 hours..!)
The S9 has great volume - for once I can switch it up 'too' loud; with my blade and jabra BT2020 (<- very disappointing) I always had them on 'full blast' and then had to switch the Uni up.
The S9 is two sided - it can do phone calls and it can also play music (and 3rd dimension can also remote control the music).
I expect I'm only ranting on what A2DP can do, rather than the S9... and am sure the DS970 and Voyager 855 has the same properties. [NB, a difference between the S9 and 855 is how they sit in your ears... unsure about DS970 (orb?)].
Ok, bottom line. If you have an HTC Uni, get an A2DP headset.
No-one knows what's hidden in your pocket as you can totally control it from your headset (AVRCP). I can skip tracks, go back, pause, change volume and also answer calls (HSP)
And then of course you can totally blow people away by taking you Uni out your pocket and letting them know what it can do :D. Doesn't matter it's big, as long as you can carry it... and us blokes (hrmm, and capable ladies, excuse me enigma1nz :o) are able to put it in a pocket (hrmm, handbag) etc. [nb, not to tell a funny story, but I have found that handbags/ ladies/ men/ pockets are all interchangeable these days.. yes, men have handbags!.. but I digress and wish to stop digging this bit hole I've found myself in :(]
I'm unsure under UK law if I can use my S9 in my car (just for phone / navi), even though it's better than my other BT earpieces... anyone know? (Because under UK law you're not allowed to obscure your hearing by wearing headphones whilst driving... yet you are advised to use a handsfree kit otherwise you will be prosecuted)
Thanks kareeem & orb3000.
