Dear Artemis Users,

I just started cooking Roms so dont be angry if something is wrong :P. First I will cook standard roms, I will change nothing.

Thanx Shady313 for helping me out with my questions!

I know some people would like to have standard non changed roms.
For now I wont make other roms than Dutch or English.

I have cooked A Dutch Standard 6.5 rom with evreything as stock will have to test it a bit more before uploading it. after that I will make a WWE one.

Just flashed this (dutch) ROM. Looks great.
Only thing is that I miss the HTC camera. The program is there, but I can't get it asigned to the camera button. Where should I make a short-cut to the camera application, so that I can assign it to the right button?

And second question, how do I add programs to the Start menu? I think that I have to add a shortcut somewhere. But where?

Anyway, thanks for the ROM. I will use it, and see how it behaves.

The Camera problem I will look into it.

To add programs to the start menu just copy the shortcut to the Windows folder like this /Windows/Start Menu/

Edit: Which programs would like to add? If you install a program a shortcut should be added automatically.

Ok, I found it myself.

HTC_camera can be found in the Windows folder.

Just make a shortcut to HTC_camera in the /windows/startmenu/ folder.

There you go, In the settingsmenu, personal (persoonlijk), assign the camera button (5) to HTC_camera.

The same for any navigation program. Make a shortcut to Igo, or TOMTOM in the /windows/startmenu folder. Now you are able to assign the nav-button to Igo, or Tomtom.

Looks like WM6.5 reacts faster than 6.1. I will test this ROM with Igo8, see what happens.

Her eyou find the uspl nosize.

First update the uspl with the rom utility, and with this usplnosize. Copy the file mentioned into the unzipped folder.
After that, load the new rom with the same utility.

Another problem with colors.
The phone dialer screen is white with black letters. When I press the numbers to choose a number, the numbers are not readable. I think its just because the numbers are also white on a white background.

How can we fix that so that the numbers are black again?:confused:

This is a known Bug will be fixed in version 0.2, pherhaps there will be a new comm manager as well.

How is the speed of the Rom? It hasnt been optimized yet

Till now the speed is OK. I tested it in simulation mode with Igo8. And it doesn't become very slow. I did not navigate realtime till now, because I am sick at home. But I think speed is better with WM6.5 than with WM6.1. I think this is due to HTC Home or Manilla or TF and other stuff, that are present in other roms. I think we don't need that with WM6.5 WM 6.5 is quite fingerfriendly.

Another bug I discovered: I can connect to a bluetooth headset, that works. But there is no link with voice speed dial. When I press the button on my headset, normally, voice speed dial pops up. But that doesnt work. Maybe a reinstall off the voice speeddial will do the trick, but I think there is a missing registry entry.

And yes, the colors of the Com manager doen't fit the rest of the ROM.

And I miss Bubble Breaker as game. But I can live with that.

Just tested the WWE your right for some reason the start menu wont open nor with the hardware button.
I will try to fix this in 0.3!

Also for the others, If you are reporting a bug please describe it in detail, make a screenshot to make it more clear for me for example.

Unfortunatly I think My Artemis is starting to die on me, So I am only using it for rom cooking.

I use a HP Ipaq 914c now as phone, Screen is smaller :(

I am starting to hate the low res and low DPI!!!!!:mad::mad:

Just cooked the first version of my base 6.5, and I have a problem. I don't have the circular graphics around the softkeys, and my start menu doesnt have a back ground and the graphcs overlap each other when i scrooll up and down in the start menu.

I'm pretty sure I know where I need to look to fix the bug, but it's 1 30 AM in India and I have to study for my exam tomorrow :(

Could somebody be kind enough to let me know what I have to do so I can correct it and upload the ROM by tomorrow?

You only have to change a register value to make WLAN work. A long search made me find the sucker:

And that goes for every comm manager you can find on xda-dev. Change this register value and the wifi works again. I also tried the Comm manager of the Manilla interface, they are also looking good:

Just flashed this (dutch) ROM. Looks great.

Hi. See. Get the camera file from the Windows Folder on your device. Ok. Then copy it to start menu -> programs. Start Menu folder in Windows folder
Done.\ Rename camera to Camera.
Go to Start -> Settings-> Personal and assign the camera button and you are done. :cool:

What has been ficed already: Comm Manager fits better just like pin screen and phone canvas.

I have redone my kitchen, currently I am testing my New Rom.

This rom will be version 1.0

It will be my base rom so there will be nothing changed only some MS apps removed to make more storage and ram free.

It seems to be that the start menu bug is fixed.

I hope I can test some more and upload V1.0 today.

Note: Please If you are reporting bugs, be as specific as possible and if it is possible make some screenshots!

I still have to geet free Ram and Storage just like you, and currently I have 12 modules in slot 0(Dutch Rom), I dont know what else I can remove.

Also I would like to delete all stock themes And Make one myself....Will have to search for that.

Hopefully there will be no major bugs in version 1.0, one bug is still there camera hardware button misses shortcut how to fix that?
