**Uninstall any old versions before continuing**
1. copy cab and install
2. report any issues for future development

Full = Full theme
Icon Fix = Icon corrected theme to fix this issue for WVGA

- added landscape support !!!! (which the pictures just do not do justice, it looks gorgeous)
- overall optimized and fixed some errors - Theme is now incredibly polished

**INSTALLATION**

2. An image will be placed on Device > My Documents. Using the settings tab in TF3D set this Image as wallpaper to enable Hero style clock

**solved** Theme has trouble with manila 2.5 icons (see IMG below) -- if you have this problem download the "2.1 - no icons" cab below (2.0 must be uninstalled before 2.1 can be installed)

2.1 - no icons.cab is currently beta and may not work with all icon packs. also the email and messages icon in the contact card may not match when you select them

****DO NOT download 2.1 unless you have already tried 2.0 and got the icon error, 2.0 Full is still considered complete theme, 2.1 is the icon corrected version of 2.0 meant for people who get the error below***

actually its just the stock clock and a background image that matches the panoramic theme (look at the video) is used to make the box.

I'm trying to see if i can actually build the clock to look like that but so far no such luck as manila doesn't seem setup to handle that layout


Feel free to try it out, as stated above files are un-installable (so long as your not using a different theme already) and it creates a much more appealing and dynamic experience in touchflo than stock (plus its not as gloomy)

now on to my issue, i installed V2 cab for VGA & the slider does not show up how its pictured in the screenies. its simply a grey slider that does not show my tab icons. interesting. please check out my screenshot & let me know what i did wrong or how to correct the slider image

I actually noticed this today on a firends divice (he's helping me develop the WVGA backgrounds) I think the theme has trouble if you have the manila 2.5 icons.. it doesn't seem to replace them properly. i'll see if i can work up a fix

get back to you soon (for now i'm just going to list it as a known issue). you don't have to uninstall the theme as the fix will probably just be an addon cab

thanks for the update just saw that today i'll work on it.

in the mean time can you confirm the following with your device (this is what i saw on the test Xperia X1)

- Panning seemed to work perfectly, just when it stops on a tab the image drops down to only cover 1/2 the screen.

- and Landscape seems to be functioning perfectly.

just a suggestion:: you should compress the png with pngcrush (freeware) with these parameters: pngcrush -d c:\temp -rem alla -brute *.png

even if the best thing should be compress as JPG trough jdo (another freeware)

doing so the BG picture will be less fatter & of course will take less ram ;)

for example porting the png to jpg & compressing with jdo your bg file goes from 148kb to 47kb...

I just installed 2.1 but I'm still getting the solid gray slider. I'm currently running the latest EnergyROM Genesis on an AT&T Fuze. Other than that, this is a very solid theme. Thanks for your work.

I've done that last step about 3 times and nothing changes. I've done it then reset the phone.. still nothing. I've tried moving the image to the storage card and selecting it from there.. STILL nothing.. same background. What could be going on here?

And also you should use this black dock instaed of the one you are using right now, looks a lot more like the original hero clock, I made it myself here is what i would like it to look it after completed. (This picture was made in gimp)

it sounds like an issue with TF3D, are you able to set any other types of images as your background? try .jpgs maybe ?

if so let me know i can reformat the background and post it

like i mentioned before the clock is just a wallpaper that is made to match the panoramic background so as long as your TF can post a background image it should work :confused:

It should work just fine i can't remember but i'm pretty sure i already tested it on that version of 2.1. And even if it doesn't files are uninstallable. so enjoy it :D

Sorry for the slow reply didn't see the post, ya thats a known issue for now. hopefully have a fix soon but thanks for bringing it to my attention. will try to have a fix for it soon but it might have to come after i get WVGA working (which will hopefully be tomorrow) :)

Sounds good. I'm sure there's a way to have a reg edit where a seperate wallpaper can be set in landscape mode.

This mod here is for a panoramic background.. much like is used in this mod. In landscape they have a seperate wallpaper that is used and sized differently.. or at least was when it was first released. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=547941. Something out of this coding may help with the issue in landscape with this mod.

ya i've been looking but not having any luck, i looked into a few files myself but have made limited progress.
the easiest thing would be if TF would allow a different portrait and different landscape wallpaper but unfortunately it doesn't (and apparently their arn't any mods to change that :( )

i'll try taking a deeper look later on but i for now i want to get WVGA development caught up so i can post it over at the other sections - for WVGA i just have to adjust allignment and then its done, and monday is when i get my hands on the test device so should be done very soon :D

if you download the "no icons fix" it won't replace your custom icons on the slider (but it will still replace the slider and slider bar)

or you can download the theme and just reinstall your custom icons
(in most cases it should work)

Has anyone tried this on a Sprint Touch Pro? I get a blank screen with just the background displayed. No icon's show up at all, no clock, nothing. I do get my softkeys, and going to programs works, but I can't go back after that. Even the home button doesn't work.
