What HTC phone with windows mobile is the best out there right now? I think its hard to follow, especially since HTC has started using android (which i don't want right now).

My criterias for the phone is that it must have

GPS (TomTom)
WiFi
WM6.1

And its gotta be fast.

Price is not a question here.

Thanks for your help!

If Android is not your choice you can look after Touch Pro 2 if you need a hardware keyboard, Diamond 2 if not.
Those 2 are very good options and ready to go in most countries.

Let us know what was your choice.

if you need a hardware kb like me then the touch pro/fuze/whatever-it's-called (for your network) is definitely the HTC choice to go with. Has a great display resolution, Kb works great and the touch display is very responsive. Only complaint I had with the phone was I didn't like the Touch Flow display (lots of people do)... I am just a purist and really like the Windows Mobile screen so I turned off all the Touch Flow stuff and the HTC's Dialer Skin (reverted back to Win Mobile Dialer) and then tweaked the heck out of it to make soft keys and hardware buttons more functional for me (re-mapped the annoying PTT function).

Also a MUST for this phone is a BETTER lock mechanism than the default Device Lock which doesn't look Volume/Answer/End buttons (and on screen touch) when the phone is woken up by a call. And since I often keep my phone in my holster this resulted in MANY missed/inadvertantly-answered calls (while driving/other) as well as my ringer getting silenced or audible when I always set it to vibrate.

I tried Slide to Unlock app which was getting great reviews but drained my batter 3x faster even AFTER trying all the battery saving tips. Just recently downloaded a MUCH smaller and simple app (SensorLock ver 0.4.0) that locks/unlocks Everything/TouchScreen based on flipping the phone in a clockwise fashion in your hand. Great App, runs less than a meg in memory (SlideToUnlock was 3-4m on avg) and so far hasn't depleated my battery more than it would under normal usage.

I know this is a rambling post, but what I'm really meaning to say here is that the Touch Pro/Fuze is NOT a great experience out of the box IMHO, but once you tweaked it like you like it it's a SWEET Phone!
