Hi there, I am after some advice, im currently running Gen.Y R2 D2 but am looking to move back to a more practical ROM rather than a graphically superior ROM.
Im going to miss a few of the features and wondered what will work with this ROM as being older (unsure of build as not stated and not currently running to check if 21xxx+).
1) The HTC notification enhancement (if would work, which files would be needed - cab file available?)
2) Most up-to-date working Youtube app (bearing in mind ROM build)
3) Most up-to-date camera & album builds (bearing in mind ROM build)
Many thanks for any advice given

Hmm I may look at that but im not someone who has time to flash frequently so I have to do so carefully and do my research. Ive used Nataly before and was very impressed, even after all this time, its still benchmarked as the fastest ROM for day to day life. RAM and program memory is outstanding.
My issue with trying the Dia Duit ROM is that although based on the Nataly ROM there is no documentation of changes or new RAM % etc....
I know its updated to TF3d2 but im moving back to Nataly to get away from this as although its nice graphically is to thirsty for my little diamond lol
If I was going to stay with TF3d2 I would stay with Gen.Y as this is by far the fastest and most stable rom available so far IMO.
This is why I thought if I could just add the few things I wanted to take to Nataly ROM then I know thats all Ive added.
Thanks for your swift reply

Why don't you try this?

As well, there's kitchen with many extra options and new drivers - only problem that it is in russian, but you can always download the kitchen and swap the drivers around. I did it, and it improved memory a bit, as well as overall feeling

kitchen itself

you might consider BSB 6.5 L, once again version L, as i have tried all the others and this one is by far the best, Ram on startup 42%, seldomly goes over 50%, very fast, very stable, and with m.carroll pure2 black vga u get the most exquisite graphical appearence in tone with the diamond, youtube working, camera working, bt and sms thread not working on default install but fixes provided, radio 1.15 recommended

This IS the answer but if you study my first post I was asking what files need to be cooked in for notification enhancement etc....
But people keep suggesting ROMS lol
Im trying to find BSB 6.5L but can only find BSB 6.5R and 6.5.1A at the moment, doubt i'll go for this as Ive tried 6.5 before and the honeycomb menu is horrible, its just to messy!!
Thanks for all of your suggestions though :)

Thanks again, maybe im making hard work of this lol
Im happy to try cooking but im after the files to include in a package. I cant just download a kitchen as the packages are broken up into all different directories so trying to figure out what belongs to what is almost impossible.
I was just hoping someone could indicate what files would need to be in a kitchen to enable the new notification enhancement for example.
Nevermind ill probably just stick to Nataly. Its simple but powerful, and more importantly - I know whats in it....
Thanks anyway :)

honeycomb? don't think it is used anymore in this version, but i might be wrong.
if u would like to try it and need the Jocani folder sorting (in English) pm me and i can send it to u per email (the cab i downloaded seems to install it only in Spanish so I had to modify it).
it is an excellent rom for daily usage, gps working wonderfully (igo and miomap)... hope i been able to help u a bit:)
