[22/09/09] Amazing ROM from DJKoa :) Fast Hybrid 23047-23016! With expansion CAB ;)

Hi boys and girls :) Again a ROM from me...this time for Artemis (my brother's mobile)
My efford was: to do the fastest and stable ROM with all working things we use daily. And of course, beautiful and organized.

So here is the deal: with 64Mb, I try to minimize the kitchen taking out all images for landscape, etc. And I added a expansion cab with software that can run from SD.

ROM details:

- SYS 23016 (20% are from 23009 to correct SMS and wifi bug)
- XIP 23047 (i will cook one with 23601 ... but i need mobile back to test :) )
- 50Mb / 25Mb
- M2D (latest build with special adds)
- New comm (2.9.5.0) working (only wifi icon can't update...but works fine)
- CS Phone,CS Band, CS Call, etc.
- CS SMS
- Startup Wizard (fully working: contacts + communication setup)
- Audiomanager, WMP (with skin), BT Audio, etc
- New dialer + CS Contacts
...
- No LHZ rom (Rom not compressed...so fastest)

Try and u will see :)

Expansion cab:
- Adobe, M2DC, Music ID, etc, etc.

the hard work u put in Design is not to overlook
realy impressive

but...

-not as fingerfriendly as the new wm6.5 builds with
startmenu at the bottom
-i dont like M2D anymore cause its ram consumption is too big
-and almost 12 MB RAM after SR is not enough

all in all a nice ROM except of its problems with RAM
with a newer buil of WM6.5 it would be much better i think
but m2d won't get together with the startmenubutton at the bottom so i understand why u have chosen the older one

Nice work, if you want to use the latest builds with old ui, i think you need the 21xxx series builds.

For me don't like:
- too small font size
- too slow. The M2D works not so fluent.

I changed the font to tahoma, thats the only difference from original
Free RAM is about 15 m

Hi
I have installed this rom and run into lot of problems.

1:Memory available is very less , even after disabling the today screen plugin
2:Mails get configured but dosent open any mail when clicked on it and need to close outlook by invoking taskmanager.(tried flashing the rom 2 times for all issue)
3: when i go to messages and go to To option , as i type the names the contact list is not displayed and i have to always click on To option select single contact everytime (EX. if i have to send to 5 people Text message then i need to click on To five different times select each contact.) what i mean is Contacts is not integrated in messages.
4:The harware buttons like for camera , internet explore say shortcut missing , even if i go and personalise going into settings only one button setting get saved.
5: Wifi is not working
6:Lot of basic application missing in rom.
7:Fonts size is very small
8: Touch Keyboard cant be disabled , it invokes everytime even if i change it in settings.
9: The fix for Edge Icon is missing in the main screen.


Please note i have just given my feedback on the rom so that you can fix these and build a very nice rom , incase any of my statements have hurted your feelings then i sincerly Apologize for the same.
