you can put it all in one rgu or reg file based on ur kitchen and put it in a pack which gets processed at last. for it to process at last start its name with "zzzz" so that its the last pack to be processed while cooking.

dwnd wm6.5 official and made base rom with os kitchen and also with evk.
ok all is well till now..
but here,is the true story.
i see new runcc instead autorun..ok no problem
..i wann use xda uc but failed thousand times.
can u plz elaborate how to do,
i have read almost 100 post but no help
..then in stock rom i got some premade folders..which i am unable to delete.
plzz help..
as i want to add my own folder and icons..here i am totally helpless..
..

like shoid i have to make ext packages named zzzz..
then zzzfolder)agaij foldr called file and put all custom icons and in that zzfolder app.reg that contain info for icons where to stick..
am i right?

folders r usually there in initflashfile.dat and other app.dat files. same goes for icons. so you need to find that and remove it.

try to remove everything of runcc. i used to use xdauc for a long time. you need to reove some specific files of autorun and runcc inorder to make xdauc run on startup. also you can edit the xdauc mortscript file for further customization.

which must be included ads ext packages?

As a noob chef
I'm working on Hx4700's wm 6.1 Kitchen,
I tried to change startmenu & settings icons ..
with different methods:
-replacing directely the app .exe 'icon using ResHack
-using the same tool by editting or creating .dlls, then replacing or adding new icons, & refering shortcuts' icons to those in dll
-using a specific icon changer app.
...
of course files will being signed after each operation.
but having the same problem wich is a white bgr of all my changed icons :mad: -see attached pics-
is this method suitable for wm6.1 : (eg :)
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start\ App.lnk]

I think it's only for wm6.5.X
And tried with different vga icons but the same thing

im cooking my own rom on my elfin with OS Kitchen,and am able to cook almost better rom and facing few issues which im not able to solve despite searching many threads,so plz help me .
1.my longpress end key not working for data disconnect.how to link end key to data disconnect.??rest working
2.how to get the date,time of previous rom,when we customize first time after flashing new rom??im able to set time zone,regional setting with ur help.
3.themes are not getting installed with autorun.donot know why?so i tried RunCC,in which themes get installed and works ok.but in RunCC date,time reverts back to default one,after softreset,from the date,time which i set for present time.any reason??
4.just today i noticed that about htc album,when i select titanium for today screen,the album works perfect without any problm but when manila enabled as today screen the album becomes very unstable.this happens in other cooked roms aswel including ahen series.any insight about this??
5.in comm manager(ported from mega)all tabs works except bluethooth which says bluethooth cannot be opened.any help??
