I Have A cingular Device But My Carrier Is T-Mobile Would Like to change to t-mobile rom so do ?I Hard SPL Flash The T-Mobile Rom Then Flash The WM 6 ROM Of Choice Or ?? I Don't Know Any Help Would Be Appriceated

Read the sticky threads. I assume you have the T-Mobile ROM? If not, search the forums for a link, you'll surely find one that isn't expired since people re-upload that ROM from time to time. You need to SIM unlock, and use hard or soft spl. I'd suggest softspl to start with. I don't know for sure but I think I've read that it is safer.

You also want to find out (I don't know): is it safe to burn a T-Mobile ROM on a Cingular G4, or do you risk writing the wrong IPL/SPL, which can brick the phone? I've burned the T-Mobile ROM on my G4, but it was originally a T-Mobile phone. I don't know if that makes a difference or if they are all the same on the inside. Hopefully someone more experienced can set me straight :-)
