how to use wifi for connecting mobile to the internet...

hey! can neone tell me how i can use my htc's wifi to connect to internet..
actually when i connect to my wifi to my college's wifi connection, it gets connected... but still then i can't access net from it.... plz help... :rolleyes:

are you sure u can surf net using ur college wifi...have u tried using a laptop to surf...?

That thread which I mentioned is basically using your phone's wireless chip to look for wireless networks, making your phone a wireless modem
