Is it possible to run the HTC audio manager version 2 on my HTC Elf, I'm running WM6 and would just like the updated audio manager.

Thanks.

If there are ROMs with Audio Manager 2 built-in probably you can run it but I don't know what comes with Elf because I have an Elf(in).

Yes, it is possible. I'm running it myself.

You should get the "HTC_TouchFlo2D_Audio_Manager.cab" out of the Manilla 2D thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2632003&postcount=1).

Yup, in fact some of the ROMs here have Audio Manager 2.0 built in.
Like Onyx / SX ones.

I tried it, didn't work... it opened, could not get it to play anything, and after about 30 seconds the whole phone froze up...

WM 6 thing? I dunno, I'm kinda disappointed.

I'm running windows mobile 6...
I did try the Onyx 6.1 rom, and the audio manager worked well, but my phone was slowed down to a snails pace and the whole interface came across as quite unstable so I changed back to a stock WM 6 rom.

You should try Onyx Micro 4.7

Thats way faster than what you are using now.
