Hello,

I searched a lot of threads but I did not find an appropriate answer for the question: What is the function of rilphone.dll?

Please can someone clearly explain for what the file is?

Thank you in advance!

I am not an expert on this subject, but AFAIK the rilphone is a sort of bridge between the radio and the OS.
If a radio has some advanced functions the rilphone has the task to make them understood by the OS.

So it is important to have radio and rilphone aligned

Not a very scientific explanation but should give you an idea.

If someone wants to add more explanations, I will not be hurt :)

so like just run the cab? that's all? now i'm running a rom with a 1.13 rilphone and my radio is 1.00.25 (yeah, yeah... there's a big story behind this :))

all works fine, but i just found the rilphone 1.00.25 *cab* - question... do i simply install the cab and seemingly my rilphone gets downgraded?? and know of any impacts on the ROM?

reason i'm asking before doing is - it takes me about 2 - 3 days to customize the rom, and i just did it so don't want it to go wasted :)

thanks.
