When i try installing this ROM i get an error "Error [244] : INVALID MODEL ID"
This Update Utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please check your update utility.

Having installed various versions you should know by now......yet if you don't extract the nbh file from setup, rename it diamimg.nbh copy onto your internal storage, start boot loader (pressing vol down+back button+red reset) and there you go!!!!now being repeated one milli:pon and one times.......hurray!!!

Today i have reverted back to indian rom 1.93 and radio 1.13 with original installer with this gsensor calibration is not fixing. But with this new official rom the problem solved. Thank you very much.:)

OK I got success by first following the complete upgrading tutorial here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=416211)and installing the Olinex Hard SPL.

Then I just re-ran the downloaded rom and Bingo! it works!

only one matter annoy me is the Boot Screen (ORANGE insted of HTC orgin screen) the other thing is Comm Manager (the original one is Organe also) has been fixed by installing the HTC Comm Manager Cabfile

the drivers included are up to date, at least as marked version (.11 instead .10) even at 1st sight they seem really equal to the ones included in the 2.10 version, while ALL the oem app included are older, for example default manila is the old 1.35 :eek: & for finish the OS build is really out dated, anyway let's see if something good can be ported :D

no font change by change in setting>input,small to large.

Thanks. I tried this and it doens't work on mine - I think it flashes up with "image not found" or somethign and then quickly switches to a USB message. There is no option to load a rom.

Is there any other way?

what is the build date? I got a rom from 27.Feb 2009. I got 60% ram ussage while restoring a dataset from a backup with PIMBackup. Yet after boot its at 49%.

Hi i have tried to flash my diamond with this Rom
i updated the hardspl to 1.93
but everytime it arrives till 100% i got the error[270] update error
the image file is corrupted.please check your update utility.
i download it several time and the same message still appear

i used hardspl 1.40 the olinex one cos before i was getting the errors but after installing the 1.40 it installed perfect and is running nice.

I only have one question all the internet settings are romanian, ive been on the orange website and changed a few like the mms/homepage but if i try to goto orangeworld the address pops up wap.orange.ro and its the same for the other pages on the orange page all en in ro and i guess the ports will be different aswell...is there not an auto think to do it all for us hee hee.

Try this, extraxt nbh from zip rename to diamimg.nbh copy to internal storage, low vol key+back arrow+soft reset, like flashing new rom except that its a splash screen. For comm manager try various vga skins posted in the forum.

Only if you push Volumn down will it format your internal storage.Volumn up will just format the rom

Oops I actually meant will it format the main drive? I assume you mean it will when you say the rom so I will have to install all my programs again right?

no it won't.........the splash diamimg.nbh will just flash the o2 startup with original htc, all memory content will remain intact! As its not a new rom you are flashing!!!
