I am trying to boot from an alternate bootloader for my Palm Treo 700w. The device has an an Intel XScale PXA272 processor which I believe is an ARM processor. Now there is a bootloader for the Palm Treo 700p that exists (cocoboot) but I have been told this is only for the Treo 700p device (running Palm OS instead of Windows Mobile 5.0 which is currently running on my 700w). I was wondering if there exists a bootloader for my 700w?
FYI I'd ultimately like to compile & run BusyBox on the Treo but I am trying to move in baby steps for now. I thought I'd start with verifying that I can boot to an alternative device (an SD card instead of ROM) then move to maybe compiling & booting into a linux boot kernel.
Please help.
