no backlight after starting Navigon7 once

Hello,
I've verified this on 2 XDA Orbits: after starting Navigon 7 on the Orbit1 everything works, but when Iswitch off the display and then try to switch it on again, the backlight stays off. When I light the screen with a flashlight I can see, that the display is on and the touchscreen and and hardware buttons all work fine. But without backlight the device is useless.

The same Navigon version (same SDHC card works fine in my Orbit 2 (which is broken atm)). Starting Navigon7 once into its main menu and closing it then and I have the problem... Navigon 6 has no problem (just tested without map).

Soft Reset lets me boot it and everything works until I turn off the display...

Only Hard Reset helps.

Anyone an idea?

1.: which Version of MN7 do you use, this problem should come with versions lower than 7.34.

2. I have installed a small programm litetoggle and joined ist to a hardware key. So when a have this problem, I press the key until the screen is readable.

Hi,
another solution, I did a Hard-Reset already. I hope My Orbit 2 will arrive soon, until I'm using terrible TomTom...
I think it's a problem of the ROM...but o2 won't release a newer one I think...
And an ROM from here is dangerous of bricking it I think...
