Imap/email check on and off switch?

Is there any way to set some type of switch to turn the email checking on and off easily rather than going into the options ever day? I have it set to manual check so it dont keep going off in the sleeping hours.
NEW data user, so, before it was always set to manual

Solved this by installing spb phone suite (found here: http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/pocketpc-software/phonesuite )
With this i was able to setup all kinds of notifacation profiles with switched timming

I am still seeking an on off switch for email checking. I am not using spb mobile shell anymore and my imap email checks are annoying when i am sitting right here on the notebook with outlook checking.
