Confused installing WM 6 - Prophet

Hello guys..
I'm a new WM rapist..
This forum is really kick-ass!!
but I'm totally confused about how to install WM 6 & got no idea where to start it..
there are many posts here which makes me confused choosing which one I should read & follow..

so, to make it clear, please answer my questions below

1.What programs should I download to run installation?
2.where can I download 'em ?please gimme the exact links coz I found many dead links in this forum (if it's possible, plz gimme the non-rapidshare ones)
3. need the step guide,where to download it?
4.and also is there an original wm 6.1 clean rom?

Nice easy method and it is well supported by one of the Master rom builders ;)

I found 2 good rated methods here, first from dioxda & hma4. yesterday I've tried hma4 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=350033 ) but didnt work. point 1 n 2,no problem but 3??I'm totally lost!!!:confused:

1.there's no extrom folder in update_package which I downloaded from 4shared (the original link is broken)

2. * select "File #2" then browse and select the os.nb you have downloaded. --->>>what does it mean??os.nb???where to download it?


Convert os.nb and extended_rom.nb to nk.nbf

* go to Update_Package\Create Nk.nbf and run nb2nbf.exe
* Change the Model ID from Wizard to : Prophet
* the CID filed must be empty!! But you can put any number for the OEM version.
* select "File #1" then browse and select the extended_rom.nb that you have created from step 3.
* Set the start address to 9B000000
* Type Extension Rom for image name (Extension Rom not Extended Rom)!!! Edit: you can also write Extension instead of Extension Rom.
* select "File #2" then browse and select the os.nb you have downloaded.
* Select OS from Image Name drop down box
* Select the location you want to save the output file (nk.nbf)
* Click on Translate button on the top right of the screen.


also, can ya tell me which one is the newest, best, easy & safe method to do this stuff?
it's really stresful if I have to read all the threads..

You don't need to covert the ROM and extended That is old method ;)

Is your prophet now hard spl did you follow that process with easy tools ?

Once your device is hard spl and it's working you can just flash any ROM to your device (any .nk rom that is )

I've downloaded lazy_tools & 2 ROMS already but there's no read me file. I don't know where to start it..
can ya please tell me the steps?and also I'm not quite sure if it's the right lazy_tool regarding this lazy_tool's been made a year ago. perhaps there's a new evolution of this program?

to make this easier,please gimme the link of the software which is needed & the clearest steps..
