Simply the best rom ever. Not for the ram.... Not for the speed... But because it can connect to my uni's wifi through cache! congrats dude! Only thing missing if i may say so is Quick GPS as the SeaSGEE doesnt update, at least i think so.

Empty (erase the contents) of your microSD card from the Windows Mobile file explorer or format it from your computer using a card reader, make sure to format in FAT32 and not FAT although in some cases format doesn't work, also it is only necessary to format if your first attempt at flashing fails
Extract the .NBH file from your prefered ROM upgrade: In windows use winrar (right click) to extract the contents of the exe file. In Linux / MacOS use cabextract.
Rename the .NBH file to ARTEIMG.nbh and copy it to the root folder of your microSD card.
With microSD card inserted on the phone, start the bootloader (The bootloader is invoked by pressing down the Power & Record buttons and using the stylus at the same time to press the RESET button at the left side), keep both buttons pressed after releasing the reset button.
You should see the screen pictured on the left, confirm flashing on screen by pressing the volume slider down.
Flashing might hang after some time but this is normal. Just wait. Complete flash takes about 30 minutes, so check your battery or connect to charger before the flashing process starts. After the flashing process is complete, it will tell you to press any button to continue. After this the bootloader screen with its red/green/blue color is shown. Just reset the device and it will boot the new ROM.
SuperCID devices are able to flash any NBH image using this method.

This is a great rom but I keep getting a camloader error (could not activate device error: rc=110) whenever I start the camera. This can be intermittent. Any advice please?

You can activate sms-threading in registry... You must delete the following key [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Setting s\OEM]

I found the problem of low duration of my battery.My SDHC card does not go into stand by. I believe that all the registry settings are correct. Maybe my card Kingston 4gb class 4 does not support power management. With a 1GB SD card power management worked perfectly.

but i found a bug with the camloader. after softreset the camloader works. but after some time, i think its depends on s2u2, the camloader doesnt work anymore. i get an error message called:

Hi Andrew,

Its the best rom i have ever flashed for my Artemis, I have flashed other 6.5 os (touch friendly ,finger swap ) but all works well for 1 week and then it creates lot of problem with respect to the response as i use my phone for my office exchange mail.

I would say its the best rom and can be said far better then the official rom.

Alarm works perfectly for me, after flashing did you hard format your phone or no ?
Always hard format your phone after flashing .

Its the best rom without any issues , Except that we cant install Mapking Navigation software on this rom.

Hi,

I found a problem, GPS receiver not found. Anyone else tested the gps receiver?
I use IGO 8.3. Before writing this ROM the GPS was functioning.

Hello again.

Just found an annoyting thing about the rom (i guess).
When i wake up the pda any application that i had opened before (notepad/messaging/etc) will close or minimize.
How can i get this fixed? What i want to do is to be able to wake up the phone and view the program i had active before.

download and install smileysms, it turns your : ) into :) which is cool, it also enables threaded messages through the options..

Nice ROM. I used shady's and harrycaine's before and almost everyday was pissed because they were way too slow. I did not even dare to try ashwaa's ROM. They all are good for sure, but mem usage is a biig problem with WM6.5.X... After some research I found yours and its great. OK, no WinMob 6.5.X, but fast and expandable. I got my Weather Informations back thx to Weather Watcher and the only thing I miss now is the possibility to set special ringtones for some contacts, the rest is just great.

This is a great ROM - thank you very much - stable and very, very fast! Like emuandco (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7224707&postcount=85) I used shady's and harrycaine's WM6.5 and found them very interesting but slow. The difference is with your WM6.1 ROM, my TomTom gets a fix and reports the speed camera near my house before I reach it every time - the other ROMs usually had not got a fix. You made some great choices - I really like your versions of GPS Quick Position, AltTab on button 6, psShutXP in the system tray. I added btIO (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=284923) in the tray and Today Agenda (http://tiews.info/index.php?show=software%2Ftodayagenda) but that is the beauty of you ROM - you leave room for us to choose what we want to add, including Opera Mobile 10 that works very well. The WM6.5 ROMs were giving me over 20mb of FREE Program Memory but Oxios Hibernate shows that yours gives over 28mb along with the largest free storage of any Artemis ROM at 72mb. An incredible total of over 100mb for us to use!
I attach some screen shots. This forum is very quiet with not many posts because your ROM works so well - there is not much to say but thank you!

One program I added is Cyberon Voice Speed Dial Version 1.2 Build 061226 that was on my original phone build. I had to make one small registry change to make the button on my bluetooth work:

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Bluetooth\AudioGateway\BTA GExtModule
changed entry from: \btagext.dll to: \Windows\BTAGExtModule.dll

Don't say I know what I am doing but it seemed to work for me!

Opera Mini (http://m.opera.com) 5.1 is now out of beta and available for Windows Mobile 2003 SE, 5.x and 6.x handsets as of September 09, 2010. This works well on this fantastic AndreW82 WM6.1 21056 Lite v1.4 even when installed on the SD card so I still have a huge amount of free Program Memory: 28 Mb
After using this ROM for months I am delighted with it.

Tried many other ROM's, but this ROM brought back to life my old Artemis in a matter of speed and functionality, so I can use this little phone again ;)

Internet sharing is working great so I can use Internet wherever I go on my laptop.

Iam using this Rom for a very long time and i can say its an best ever Cooked Rom.
The only problem i face in this rom is that ,

sometime when we get a call , we get the number as unknown though the contact is available in phonebook . this is really annyoning as we repond to known numbers as unkonwn.

I even tired re-flashing the phone 3 times again to make sure there is nothing wrong with the Rom extraction (instalation) but with no luck.

Hope someone finds a resolution for this .

try copying your sim contacts to the device..

this might fix the bug, however all is fine on my artemis..

I have all my contact ins phone only , i dont store in sim .

i dont use any other software , not even single app apart from rom build is installed.

and this is not a new issue , i have this from the day one i installed the rom .

AndreW82 Lite works perfectly and was the best ROM ever on my O2 Xda Orbit (http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/index.php?title=User:Szczepanik#HTC_Artemis_P3300_ O2_Xda_Orbit) with wi-fi and GPS
I have microSD 8GB SDHC card working perfectly.
National characters are available on different keyboards.
